The two bunnies are the only things that the landlord (and my husband) will allow here, but before I moved, I have owned and raised: rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, rats, spiny mice, pygmy mice, degus, sugar gliders, chickens, ducks, guineas, and I owned lots of snakes (corn snakes, black snakes, and ball pythons), a veiled chameleon, bearded dragons, a dog, and a cat (bottle raised). I know that there are some I'm forgetting as well! :o
You are a person after my own heart :) You've got me thinking of the critters I've had. Let's see, 6 dogs (not all at once), 6 foxes (five gray, 1 red), gray squirrels (not sure how many), rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, many mice, 6 rats, 2 hamsters, 3 parakeets, a white tailed deer, a Virginia opossum, countless salamanders, lizards, a worm snake, a corn snake, a vole. Right now I'm down to two dogs and three mice. I'm waiting for more mice, two are male one is female.:D I may end up with another squirrel, the dogs just scared one into a cinder block on our property. I think they may have gotten a hold of it first and it may be hurt. I'm giving it a chance to get away, but if it is still there in awhile, I may have to perform a rescue.

WOW this is amazing and has cheered me up after a tedious day. So from remembering your previous posts, do you stitch all the individual bits on aida? and then sew together?
Yes, that is exactly how I make them. This one was 21 pieces that I hand sewed together.
  • Hi,everyone,
    Rhaben,
    The little deer,
I have never seen anything like it,it's fabulous,i could never create anything as good.
Like flat Eric it made me smile,I all ways get a bit down after my DD goes back to Australia,I miss her so much but I get over it.
Stitching my Arabian lady at moment, this is a silly question but does anyone else get the feeling some kits don't go well,on this little kit I have had to remedy so many mistakes ,the cotton tangles up.its as it dosnt want to be sewn!!!!! Must be my age!!!
Hope every one survived the storm without any injuries or damage ,
    Happy stitching x

I love this, it's so unusual, [STRIKE]will you be selling the pattern for this on your site?[/STRIKE] just found it :T

No stitching for me today, I think the lack of sleep is catching up with me, I'm developing the headache from hell and the painkillers haven't taken the edge of it all day.

I'm trying to hold out aslong as possible before crawling into bed as I'll just wake up early again but don't think I'll be up much longer

    Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven't been posting but I have been reading along and keeping up with news. Hope you are all ok after the storm :)

tmif - love attic24 and your bag is amazing. I find crochet much easier than knitting (never seem to be able to get the tension right when knitting)

fos - the stocking looks amazing, did you make a decision on the backing fabric yet?

pm2326 - the panda is coming along great

sweetcarer - I love the pudding, well done on your competition success. Did you follow a pattern? The samplers are great, I love the Spring colours.

mos - your Dad's stocking is so lovely and colourful. I wouldn't have a clue how to make one up though :o What wonderful 'vintage' designs you've managed to get, they're great!

Mrs T M - look after yourself honey

luckycat99 - gorgeous wedding sampler, hope your sister loves it.

In my news.....I have had no response from the Guide parents (37 of them) regarding whether their daughters would like to stitch something. I'm not going to waste my time making up mini kits with my stash, for them to be wasted. I've managed a few small designs over the past few weeks, so will try to make some more for cards, bookmarks etc. Church want to charge us £15 for the stall though

Lastly........drum roll please......I HAVE FINISHED THE FLOWER SHOP :D:D:D:D:D:j:j:j

    Hope this link works:

Santas Clothes is ready at the framers but I won't be able to collect until Friday. Will take !!!!!! in then.

    Happy happy happy!!!

Totally understand - that's not the same reason why I can't get my cables on my jumper right either!!
