Soulie - I've emailed you, really sorry I missed your pm and thought I'd already emailed you. Sorry again. My silly tablet wouldn't let me write in the email or a pm, hence message on here.
FOS - love the Lizzie Kate chart. If I didnt have so much on the go and waiting I'd be tempted.
Someone asked about the kit I'm currently stitching, where it was from. Sorry but I can't remember oher than it was a seller on ebay. If I could remember I wouldn't recommend them service was awful.
Not at work today but got lots to do and scout agm tonight so not sure whether I'll manage any stitching. Haven't picked it up since Monday as I had a really bad migraine which wiped a couple of days out.
I think that was me, I was asking where the kit "side by side" friendship piece was from:)0 -

Hi ladies.
Ailsb. Very nice framed pieces, I really like the Mother and Child. Nice progress on the chinese kit.
Don't ever apologise for the length of a post, especially when it contains pics!
You might have said and I missed it but did you have any luck calling DMC?
Hope you feel better after your migraine, horrible things, make me lose days too.
JCS. Had a quick look at your framed pieces and I agree with Ailsb, wow! I especially like all the blackwork you have done.
Mrsmp. Hope your shingles are getting better. Nice Titanic update, it's coming along great.
Tinkerbell is lovely framed and how sweet is that tiny blanket?!Look forward to updates of the bench and final finished piece.
Sweetcarer. The SH Teddy is really nice.
FOS. Thinking about it some more I might have what you would call a fetish when I stitch, well more to do with update pics (hubby calls it plain odd!)
The kit I am currently stitching, I started on a saturday so any update pics I take have to be done on a saturday and they have to be put in my stitching folder on my pc on that day (I like the dates in the folder to be right) Usually I will take an update pic every 2 weeks regardless of whether I post it here or not, I like to know that when I look back over a project the updates were exactly 2 weeks apart.
The 2 week thing didn't happen this time though so I'm not completely happy with the look of the update pic folder on my pc.
Also if for any reason I haven't stitched for more than a few days I make a note of why on a .txt file and add that to the folder so that if I look back I don't have to wonder why I didn't get much done in between updates.
Am I strange? :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Here's an update from me.
Last time,
Today,
I'm really enjoying stitching it, it's a lovely design to do.
Might even get it finished in time for xmas :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
evening all
Shelly santa update is fab
annoyed with my bench stitch the first two areas ive worked on on the actual picture ive run out of the colour before completing the area, and its blocks so not like im using thread working in and out or confetti stitching, luckily they are dmc threads so i suppose i will have to buy what i need to finish it. its a polly and katie design has anyone else done one of these and found it a problem?
first area i was only 6 crosses short but the second colour im two complete rows of stitches about 5 inches long.
really not good enough for a kit. GRRRSPC~12 ot 124

Hi all
Not been on much recently as I have been spending too much time in the garden so not much stitching going on. However have finished all the wording in Lets Wine and now onto the cross stitch parts. Don't think I will have it finished for my dad's birthday but will give it to him as is and then take it back to finish it off.
Loving all the beautiful work that people have been doing. So much temptation - especially when you see how lovely the finished works are.
Mrs M - that's really bad to run out of thread in a kit. Maybe contact them and let them know how poor it is.0
