If anyone can add to facebook it might be worth putting in something about ALDI being responsible for the actions of its agents, in other words if oyu have any costs from time spent ( upto £19 per hour ) ALDI can be held liable

    It's still happening.

Dear Aldi. I have received a Parking Charge Notice for my car parking in your Elgin store car park for 1hr 50mins on 09/01/2016. The charge is a ridiculous £70!! I have a son with a rare genetic condition and special needs and a shopping trip can take hours due to his meltdowns and his hypermobility and low muscle tone and his rare genetic condition. I am absolutely appalled that I have been charged £70 for the car being there an extra 20 minutes for a genuine reason!!!! Please advise what you are going to do about this. I am so angry and this would put me off using your store in the future! Please respond as soon as possible.

Sounds to me like he should be sueing them under the Equality Act, but maybe he's not aware.

And also not aware that they can simply ignore the PCN anyway ... Elgin is in Scotland, just along the coast from Inverness and Nairn. :)

Hopefully they will have read the helpful comments advising them about both of these issues and to come to MSE for further help.

I was thinking the other week that Aldi needed their facebook page littered with PE complaints again. So do Morrisons etc.

Time to bump this thread repeatedly again.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And if things are panning out as they appear ASDA need to be on the receiving end, if they have taken on Parking eye as their agents infesting their car parks and harassing their customers.
