I received a "parking fine" from Athena in an Aldi car park, told them they were scammers and if the wanted any interaction then provide me with a POPLA Verification Code (which would cost them £27 to obtain) which they must return within 35 days or they are deemed to have accepted your "appeal". I never heard any more !!
I went back to this Aldi store recently and noticed that they have put up several large notices about overstay "fines" and they have actually doubled the amount of the charge !!
Well from now on both can Kiss My Rear !!

They don't actually say 'fines' though do they ? And this might not be Aldi's land as they use parking eye nationally in car parks they own
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

No the notices do not actually say "fines" I think it said Parking Charge (as in PCN).
The land does belong to Aldi and they use Athena in several of their locations although the majority are "policed" by Parking Eye.

Bump. Sarah Smith is on there again defending PE, even after that blistering criticism of them by a judge.

It seems to be kicking off a bit on Aldi's Facebook Page. Aldi seems to be reaping the rewards of their contract with PE :j

[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] (and as their Agents, bringing Aldi closer to having to account for all this).

Major bad publicity. If you can add to it, go for it.

Need to bounce as it needs to be highlighted that ALDI employ the criminals known as PARKING EYE.

Bounce before it falls off the first page and because Weber Shandwick are removing posts from the Aldi FB page.

and the fourth post by poor departed Hovite:D:A

That was in reponse to this thread being briefly being infested by the lovely "Clever Sarah" as Sarah Smith/Gina/Gary of CPS didn't appreciate some of the comments- all deleted now by Forum team,

Why are Weber Shandwick so sensitive about people pointing out the FACT that a court Judge has highlight how invalid the Parking Eye charges are ? In fact another Judge has stayed all the PE cases in the South East of England so he can judge them all at once. Can't be good for Parking Eye or Aldi. Yet Weber Shandwick continue to defend the stance or just remove factual posts.

It's not going away Weber Shandwick. Do you really want to be associated with con artists ?

And we have a new Parking Eye supporter:
Carla Spencer Maybe they're as bored as everyone else on here of hearing about it...yaaawwwnnn

It's wrong for this to be on the third page. Bounced in memory of poor old Hovite - RIP.
