• Alfie this sounds interesting.. cant wait to find out what it is..

We booked to do the big craft show in Exeter in 3 weeks, I sent them an email at beginning of August, saying we cant do it, and to cancel... ok we would lose our deposit.. it looks like their VERY small print says the cancellation period is 6 months, or you are liable for the whole lot!!!

we got piglets due, so it looks like I will have to stay home,,, Hubby and eldest will have to do it ( its a 4 day show, so they will be away for 6 days) eldest is not happy, and he is a grumpy s@d at the best of times...

looks as though its going to be another nice day

    Us, apparently! :rotfl:

Must say ours were pretty good on the stall, though DD1 didn't give a stuff about plants. She was trained by M&S, though. :D

DD2 liked the plants and knew a bit about them too, which helped. She's still in retail.

Just had the man from the 'expensive' company here to do a survey for a pellet boiler. We could see he knows his stuff. The company only fit Froling boilers, which is about as high a quality as it's possible to go.

Looking at another co who do ETA. Cheaper....in the short run, anyway. ;)

Wait until you get to my age Rummer - will be you throwing em! Only kidding.

Glorious day here & starting to feel a lot better - I thought it was never gonna ease off.

Nice to be outdoors & survey what is changing with the season - trees are starting to get a bit speckled - the birch & willow. The rowans are brilliant red |& are everywhere. The heathers well & truly purple now so everywhere looks fabulous. I do love this time - our 'Fall.'

Heard that on the radio coming home, alfie. Terrible thing to happen anywhere, but especially in a quiet rural environment.

Let's hope the police sort it quickly. Such murders are usually crimes of passion, or someone in a disturbed mental state, so either way, their identity usually becomes clear quite quickly.

Not much consolation at the moment, however. Stay safe.

My first thought was of you when DH told me the news, Alfie and I wondered if the poor woman was someone you knew :( What a tragic thing to happen in such a beautiful place, so terribly sad.........
