Pleased the cats settled a little.
Goodness knows why some folks always seem to have puppies. But onwards & upwards.
Have a hebredian with bleeding eyes. The midgies are horredous, but she's rubbed herself until she's bleeding quite badly. I really am at a loss as to what to do. I'll need to phone the vets tomorrow.
I'm fed up living in a caravan & have been on at OH all day ....nag nag...nag....nag....nag...nag....nag....nag.
Washing machine - has never really worked right but now has packed up & I've been outside bent over a large plastic trug thing washing stuff - I've gone backwards again. I don't know how much longer I can stand this for.:D but give you space ?

I've been bad & filled the house build up with stuff I've 'found' cheap & yes I do have a sofa in there so I do go & sit there amidst the mess.
Just feeling a little despairing today as tried to do some things & everything goes awry - one of those days I suppose!0 -
Hope things pick up Choille.

Could a sheep wear a fly mask like a horse might?0

:grouphug: Choille Sorry to hear about the sheep, LIRs idea came to my mind when I read it too. Not sure what to add about the caravan/house situation as I think you have done amazingly well coping so far. It will all be worth it in the end.
Alfie Your new girl is gorgeousI am sure with your love and quiet attention that her confidence will grow and that she will blossom. What are your plans for the kittens?
I had a productive (ish) day today. After being woken by a singing baby at 6am I was rushed off my feet all day and only got a cheeky wee 10 mins to sit in the garden early evening before being kept busy until now!
Tomorrow I am going to hand my gorgeous boy over to my OH and they can have a boys day while I relax in the gardenTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I've never heard of a fly mask.
Thankfully the vet comes over from the East tomorrow - well 30 + miles away, but I'll catch him before he leaves & see what he suggests.0 -
morning all. SUNDAY is purring away and very happy. introduced bimble to her last night. all hes interested in is the renewed supply of cat food....:o she has blossomed over 2days ! the wedding was just beautifull. went all to plan. the flowers came from a lady in petworth and were like theyde been picked from the garden. lots of david austin roses...:D the marques were amazing, sort of circus style white canvas with amazing linings inside. took 3 days to put them all up. floors etc too. every person worked like trojans . the caterers were from sussex too and were like a military team. SO good.:T there was a big bar tent that had chairs, benches, coffee tables and was like a big lounge..:rotfl: the groom is very laid back and i asked who the band was for the evening and he said he saw them on uuuutube and booked em blind !:rotfl: they were all youngsters and they rocked the place... brilliant. they were nervous as it was thier first "big" gig ... everyone was so impressed with the day. by sunday evening every tent etc had gone and 2 bottle tops were found on the ground. nobody dropped anything rubbish wise. funniest thing was at 1pm [before guests got back from service/pics etc] a big van turned up and said they were the bouncy castle people  i asked if they were LATE ! i hadnt heard mention of a BC arriving but they assured me they were booked so said that they had to shift fast as didnt want it going up when guests arriving ! they started to put up in corner of field , i went to check dogs , when i got back.... theyde gone ?? apparently they inflated it then realised they were at the wrong venue !!:rotfl::rotfl: so scarpered quickly ... right i gotta go to work. off to the new forest show tomorow [free tickets
] still not a drop of rain here
apparently there was flash floods all around us [within 4 miles ] on friday when the wedding was in full flow. so good for the day but carp for the garden
have a good day y'all.

Goodness looks like the Mongolians have arrived.
Just had a phone call & the vets on his way - thanks fully.0 -
looks wonderful Alfie.
Pink eye - conjunctivitis, so jabs & cream. Another looks as if it's started with it. I just managed to catch the two sheep - one after the other, which was pretty jammy. They are usually really shy of strangers.0
