    Surely hyacinth?

What a sweet face, is she ok?

Looks thoughtful and classy. More of a Clarissa, I reckon.

"I like real names..." Bimble? It's real word, but used as a verb, it hardly describes the actions I associate with its owner! :rotfl:

Just bid on yet another wheeled brushcutter/strimmer. Have to get lucky sometime! ;)

Had to shut up friend's 4 chickens the other night. She had a lot of bother with red mite, till she made a coop out of one of these:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x-220lt-plastic-barrel-drum-with-plastic-lid-and-metal-clasp-/161371261796?pt=UK_BOI_FarmingEquipment_RL&hash=item25927a0b64

The lid (with air holes!) fits on and locks with the metal clasp, making the coop impregnable to fox attack. The whole thing stands horizontally on a big wooden saw-horse type structure and there are two perches that pass through holes in the sides. There's a ramp leading up to it, of course.

    Ingenious! :A
    Sounds like genius!

Alfie, you could call her 'dirty girtie' as she has been and got herself up the duff lol..

what day did you pick her up?? you could call her that, a bit like 'friday' lol.

I def got more than hayfever, it def a summer cold, not nice at all... I asked hubby would he punch me in the face this morning, as I am sure it would be less of a pain, than what I am going through now... he did smirk at me, and said I should be careful what I asked for lol..

I am home now, going to have a nice soak in the bath.. and try and get my act together with the bay, as I need to sell anything that isn't nailed down, as I am going to see how much we can get done on the ranch by Christmas.

evening all :D thanks for suggestions re cat...:D i actually like the idea [ctc] of the day ! SUNDAY ....:rotfl::rotfl: it was a sun day for the poor thing.;) when i drove in the estate it was a bit like entering a war zone  well i locked my car doors and ventured in to find the address. i was a tad confused as every other garden had either an old matress or sofa as a centre piece. then guess work came into it as only about 1 in 10 actually had a number displayed ! thus i entered the den of a rotund woman with a gaggle of kids around her, one of whom proceeded to try and wipe his nose on my dress.... a poor puppy was being manhandled by the others... i gritted my teeth and she went and got the cat who looked terrified being brought down the stairs into the foray... i mentioned i would get her speyed as soon as she'd had her kits, she replied "yeeeeh, i tried but she kept gettin prega's".... this is her 3rd litter  her last one was 13 weeks ago :(... i left at 90mph may i add. im surprised i didnt kidnap the poor puppy too ! ive put her in my study to settle down. when i let her out she scaled a 6ft book case and sat on top shelf looking around i think for kids ! .... think that says it all.... i sat down and she came down and has moved into a shop dollshouse im working on....well WAS :D ive put cosy bedding in it and she pops in and out of the big front shop window..:rotfl: she has not stopped eating !:o ive wormed her and she is so much more relaxed already. sorry to rant on but it makes my blood boil why some people have animals ??? shes safe now thats the main thing :) yes, SUNDAY :D:D

Pleased the cats settled a little.

Goodness knows why some folks always seem to have puppies. But onwards & upwards.

Have a hebredian with bleeding eyes. The midgies are horredous, but she's rubbed herself until she's bleeding quite badly. I really am at a loss as to what to do. I'll need to phone the vets tomorrow.

I'm fed up living in a caravan & have been on at OH all day ....nag nag...nag....nag....nag...nag....nag....nag.

Washing machine - has never really worked right but now has packed up & I've been outside bent over a large plastic trug thing washing stuff - I've gone backwards again. I don't know how much longer I can stand this for.
