They are fun, aren't they? Sparrows are on the decline, but not here, especially now there are so many youngsters.
What you can't see in that photo is the aerial display that was also going on, courtesy of the swallows cleaning-up the insects at low level. We have a free show most evenings.0 -

Got more quail eggs in the old incubator, got some painted quail eggs given to me, and I some snowflake ones... will have to work out when they are due to hatch, forgot to put the date down lol..

Woke up to find the kittens climbing the curtains @ 6am
, but it was chicken time anyway.
Rain later, so it looks as if I'll be shifting concrete blocks into the garage, so they stay dry for Mr Builder. Then cut as much grass as possible before the deluge.
It's all fun stuff!

amazing weather here..its hit 26 on my patio so far... todays the day i am gonna shift all the remaining pots/plants from drive to patio etc.. got to focus and not be sidetracked by a sunlounger, pimms and reggae
im in kickmyownbutt mode after paying £10.99 for a plant that i have duplicated for £3 from elsewhere .... :mad: that'll teach me ..... have a good day y'all

hubby's new bike. we sold his other ones which were rotting away lol, did feel guilty, and thought he needed a treat, as he puts up with me, and never moans.... sometimes you got to step back from the dream and realise there is a life away from smallholding, even if its an afternoon away doing something else...we bought it about 2 weeks ago now... hardly been on it,
