I didn't know that about Laurel.

Ole cat is just laid sleeping. I don't think he'll last the day. I am kinda glad he seems just to be going to sleep away. It's a 60+mile journey to the vet & that would be traumatic for all of us.
The last couple of days he's been pottering around out doors, going around - checking his policies for the last time perhaps?

Choille, you old cat sounds very like our old girl, who slept her last few hours away beside us while we worked in the flower garden.

We had to do the vet trip eventually (only 5 miles.) When awake, she was puzzled and troubled by the effects of the stroke(s.)

Hope your old lad goes in peace. :)

Choille... I think 'ole cat' will be peaceful when he goes.

    How old is 'ole cat'?

really hot here, nice, but not nice iyswim lol...

Boglets all seems ok now, and the 2 ill ones are running round like loonies... putting extra food down for them, to try and get their weight back up...

actually talked to mr twonk this morning... too much was said to write down here, BUT in mid argument he turned round and asked us if he could buy the bit of land he originally said he owned..lol... hubby automatically said no, as the only thing he would gain would be a back entrance to his garden etc... I told hubby we should have said yes and said and give him a stupidly high price, and if he did bit and buy it, he still couldn't use it a vechicular entrance, as we would still own a part of the lane that he would need to drive over to get to his land... lol... ransom strip I think they call it lol...

BUT ... we said no, so we will stick to it.

Also told him any more complaints and we will have him for harressment... so I expect there will be another complaint somewhere lol...

CTC... what can twot possibly gain by having that bit of land ? is there any way he could make your life miserable by having it ? ie lighting a bonfire etc on it.? any other devious motives ? if nothing and he cant use for vehicle and only use correct footpath id be tempted to go for silly money... sort your ceiling out ;) :rotfl::rotfl: i got a beautifull deep solid purple passion flower plant in morrisons for £2 today :D they had some really nice plants ! they also have the most spectacularly huge fresh cream cakes....:D:D took mum to see dad today, then met postie down the fields to peruse the potential hay crop... he thinks will be an august chop.. today son has passed his advanced blue light driving course this week :T he's off to canada monday for 11 days... going bear watching at whistler and whale watching ....somewhere ... me ? i get a 5am start to drive to airport...and prob not even a postcard..;) :rotfl:

Things have been a bit stressful here. OH had an appointment at the docs and was told to go to the hospital for an MRI scan. Unfortunately emergencies went before him and now has to wait for a letter. Needless to say I was more than a bit worried.

Off to Londinum tomorrow for nephews 21st. Travelling 1st class but will help with OHs condition (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Went to watch Cats last night. Was ok not sure I'll rush out to watch it again.

Lucielle OMG... fingers crossed with hubby and the MRI scan..

Alfie, I don't think he can see passed just that little bit behind his garden ( the bit on the right, just after the bridge, but just before the gate), and I presume he thinks as its a public footpath and we have a right of way to drive down the lane to our house, that he will too, either that he has buried a body there and don't want us to find it lol...

The only thing is the water pipe that brings water to the house is buried on that land..

One part of me wants to send him a map of our land, and tell him to put his request to buy in a letter and outlining on the map what he wants to buy,

I told Hubby we should say yes its for sale, and its 30k lol... that will make his eyes water lol...

even though I dislike the twonk, I dont think I could go through with this and rip him off, lol

definition of ripping off is not telling the facts and deceivingly taking money.... neither apply ... as he has asked YOU... guilt ? this is the person that has caused you nothing but grief !! is there a chance the water pipe could be relocated ...? if not then NO, dont let him near it :o p.s. would it be your side of stream ? or before the bend/bridge?
