Well, at the moment it's giving it as dry (only 1% risk of rain), alfie.
So far it says Saturday high of 7 (realfeel of 3) & low of 1 (realfeel of -7 brrrrrrr)
Sunday is mostly cloudy with a high of 7 (realfeel 0) & a low of 0 feeling like -8.
    Two words ........ bl**dy cold.
Get shot of that cold if you're thinking of being outside for long periods.

as ever the :A of weather reports

 We have an ice and possible snow warning for tomorrow

It seems like such a short time ago that the weather was warm and now I am going to have to dig out the snow boots and knitwear.

Another cold day here with just a few showers.

Old cat has just been very sick. Lovely...............

Been mainly re-listing all evening & packing a few things that sold, but there's something I just cannot find. That drives me nuts. I hate not being able to find owt.

Holiday home is officially sold & I've to clean it out - give it a final scrub - so last bath is looming......................................

Sounds a bit tough atm Choille :(

Like you its listing and packing here, just finished labelling the weekend's sales before drop off and will be taking advantage of free listings this week to relist some uncommercial stuff that just might sell, as well first listings for the commercial stuff.

Already got a load of salt/grit left over from last year and will finish winterizing outside, lagging taps mainly. Snow shovel on shopping list.

    Stay warm peeps.
  • Choille make sure you stay in that bath for a long as poss, until you get all wrinklie..

Rhiwie I really do need to have a big push on the bay this week.. What I have noticed the few listings I have put auction style didn't even have one bid, but yet the BIN's are selling well..

Do you find that? is the ay of the auction format over???

All I know is, I am going to be saving all the new pj's that I come across, and list them at Christmas time:rotfl:

Also with the things I sell, I think after Christmas, sales will just drop like a brick... which is not what I need..

    I've been Money Tipped!
My hedges are booked in. I always ask for an end of winter slot ( so we get the wind protection of unruly hedges for animals through winter plus, for small holders the tractor damage to field edges can add up to being significant if cut on a mild day on soft ground) but this year no luck, they are coming within the fortnight, no budging. So the brass monkeys cheer me up, any luck the ground will be frozen and resistant!

Of course...this means that winter fencing I have just put up has to come down at the far ends........

Reluctant as I am to agree with the Bay, people nowadays often want an immediate buy, which an auction cant do. And with a BIN, you set the price so no more 99p endings. And I lost count of the numbers of messages I got from people who'd missed the end of the auction.

Big advantage of an auction is where you have an item that is really sought after. The competition of the auction can drive the price much higher than you would have dared to BIN price
