I didnt say I did an Alf as well as Alf does! :rotfl::rotfl:
Moneyisttoshort, will do but it may be a day or so as pretty hectic here atm.
Must get in one or two items just in case it does snow and stick. Including a replacement snow shovel for the one that got worked to death last year!0 -

Rhiwie I think they have down graded the snow alert to 'wintery showers' but very wise not to listen to them:rotfl:
Alfie.. he does have a load.. as funny enough when we viewed the ranch before the auction there were loads of rock LP's which we took as a sign :rotfl:
Splashed out tonight for tea, bought 2 steaks from the butchers....for tea..Work to live= not live to work0 -
Spent a couple of hours in torrential wet & storm getting a lamb out of next door neighbours ground - they only are there in the Summer. Don't know how she got in. but what a hassle getting her out.
Last night was so stormy we hardly slept - one of the worst nights in the caravan we've had. It still seems bad but not as severe as yesterday. Some rain again today.
Came home from being out & a few miles away came across a Pine Marten hobbling across the road - must have got injured - it slid off into the night. They are so beautiful, but so deadly.
Deer all over the roads.
The caravan seems dismal & damp - with puddles where wet jackets are hung up at the door.
I've got a vase of yellow roses that I cut last week before the frost got to them - they are still lovely.0 -

Choille, I dont know how you've managed to live in the caravan for so long but will this be your last winter in it? You deserve a bit of luxury, like a bathroom with deep bath and hot water on tap!0 -
Choille, hope you have dried out out sounded like a awful night last night...
Well after seeing this property ( seen it on Fbook) I fancy a bar of dairy milk now :rotfl::eek:

Hi all still reading. Nothing much to report, mum still being a pain and moved care homes and now on 4 weeks trial. My hens have 'got' something, some kind of infestation which needs further investigation.
Last weekend managed to decorate the living room and got some new throws this week. Also started the Christmas shopping, still got a bit to do. DS1s damaged car sold on the bay tonight. New mattress arrived today, all bedding washed and back on!

OMG:eek: It would give your complexion a strange hue - almost alien.
Lucielle - maybe try & worm your hens with some Fluivet - or whatever it's called. I do them twice a year, or if I get new ones in & then use cider vinegar in their water for a few days at the end of each month - keep them wormfree.0 -
Just back from the Homebuilding & Renovating Show at the Bath & West Showground, which we were given free tickets for.

It was an overcoat colder up there, a mere 75miles away, which just goes to show what differences there are in this small country, even in neighbouring counties. Last night, choille was having a storm, yet here there was no wind here whatever and the mist was still hanging over the Somerset Levels at 10am this morning.
Still just as confused as before, even having attended a couple of lectures, but we have masses of brochures to read/compost/put in the woodburner! :rotfl:Maybe significantly, the guy who was doing the 'Selecting a Heating System' lecture owns a log boiler and solar panels.
Lucielle, the most likely infestation is lice. Hope it's not red mite, which is a different ball game altogether....:(
EDIT: Ah, choille's reminded me; I forgot worms. We do ours with Flubenvet every....err.....whenever it's recommended.0 -

I am sending that to DD1, who used to be into those colours and ended up working indirectly for the company. :rotfl:0 -
well, im snuggled in front of a good fire after having had my fish [cake] and chips at mums.:D
it was a mizzly drizzle driving back and pitch black...
if ALL the forest ponies had reflective collars on it would be so much safer.. apparently "it is up to the owners if they put them on" which rather bugs me as they harp on when they get hit but a simple thing could prevent it
