Sounds like my day :D I have so far washed down the bathroom, fed all the beasts and the washing machine and tumble dryer are humming away. I do intensely dislike cleaning but I love the outcome! Next to tackle is the living room which mercifully is not too bad.

I foolishly forgot to look out the mince for my planned cooking today so I will have to get that done tomorrow. Mind you I got oodles of veg the other day for 10p a packet so we are not short of quick meals. Planning on making some types of fridge surprise soup today for lunches.

Just watching Alan Titchmarsh and his Victorian gardening programme which is very interesting. He has a nice way about him and is easy to listen to.

Off to Ikea later as the furniture we bought for the nursery was broken when we opened the box :( Ah well a good excuse to look at their house plants!

Well the sun is actually shining today - How very odd! It isn't raining either.

Went prepared with welding gloves, secauters etc when I went to feed sheep, but no escapees, no lambs stuck in brambles, no 2 hours in the storm getting them in, getting them out.............. how weird.

Now to look out some stuff I have sold on the bay - but I have a sneaky feeling that it will be a long hunt as the shed is in such a tangle.

I've been in the barn replacing decrepit strip lights, but I think it's too dark now to do any more with the power off. It's actually 10c but it feels like Shepton Mallet did yesterday, as it's so misty and dank. :(

Alfie, just rest up. :naughty:You will have a busy enough day again tomorrow.

CTC, I sent my DD1 the Rightmove link to the purple house. She was quite disappointed, as she thought I'd sent her something useful. Perhaps I shouldn't have titled my email, "Ideas for decorating your new home." :D:rotfl:

  • Well, at the moment it's giving it as dry (only 1% risk of rain), alfie.
So far it says Saturday high of 7 (realfeel of 3) & low of 1 (realfeel of -7 brrrrrrr)
Sunday is mostly cloudy with a high of 7 (realfeel 0) & a low of 0 feeling like -8.
    Two words ........ bl**dy cold.
Get shot of that cold if you're thinking of being outside for long periods.
