Stitching Witch that's amazing news - how things can change. What a roller coaster for you.
Goodness it will be quite a time getting your head a round it all.
Hope it all works well for you. Can't have been very good living with an abusive person & for so long.
All the very best.0 -
Stitchy.... I am sooooo proud of you, for getting out of that relationship...no one should ever put up with any sort of abuse in a relationship. Except for my hubby who would say his ears get a lot of abuse from my nagging:D:rotfl::A
I think you are doing the right thing, by having a breathing space, before moving back in the ex, ex OH .. take time out for yourself...and pamper yourself... as before you know it you will be knee deep in animal poo, mud, and pet hair:D:rotfl:
Cant wait to see the pics
Alfie.. that guy sounds like a right little terrier, once he gets his teeth into something he will not let go:TWork to live= not live to work0 -
Tomorrow I plan to strap up the old ankle and get the fences back down, just at the hedge ends. No sign of rats nearest the house since the kiwi started showing an interest, so while he has not caught anything maybe they have the idea he is on the prowl now. I'll start 'working him' twice a day through the dairy and feed room too. Only wish he could catch something to keep him keen. Poor wee mite could do with some reinforcement that he's onto a good game. Some of the old working guys say to buy pet mice/ fancy rats and let him catch them......seems a bit rough:(0

What's Kiwi - the hired hand. Sheep shearer? A toy Boy?
Treat 'em ruff LIR, keep 'em keen, comes to mind, but seems a little rough even by my standards.0 -

The snow didn't come
however it was quite chilly and as I will be spending a lot of time outdoors over the next few weeks I will really need to wrap up warm when I go out.
It was a very full day for me today and I managed admirably so I am clearly on the mend :j thank goodness as I was so over being a diva
Now I need to convince myself that housework is a fun and fulfilling evening activity :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
That's a relief LIR......
Great that you feel stronger Rummer. You need to remember that housework is not as fulfilling as chocolate...............especially very dark chocolate.0
