Got DD1 and GrandKid3 here at the mo, so may be missing from discussion for a few days. Have energy to read mostly, but posting means typing - more energy and capability then I have at the mo... Especially after we had a visit from DD2 and the GrandTwins today as well! Great fun, but am knackered now!

    Happy bunny though!

Hugs to all of you who need them, Maggie

One of our cats never bothers about fireworks and sleeps merrily through the loudest of nights. The other one however is a totally different matter and spends the whole of bonfire night lying on top of me with his face hidden in my neck. As long as he is on me he is fine , if I try to put him down he starts meowing and shaking. It is a good excuse to sit and cuddle him :D

The Moose has a back story, unfortunately, he has separation anxiety :( He was fine as a puppy, but something happened when his first owner was out that triggered it and he got so bad that his first owner had to go back to his breeder and ask for help in rehoming him, as it was affecting his first owner's health :( . We don't know, but given how he reacts to odd noises, we think it might have been noise that scared him, hence why we are being uber-cautious about bonfire night.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

Such thunder & lightening & hail again. It's drumming down.

I spent about 8 hours yesterday listing stuff & have other stuff ending this W/E & have only two bids on things. It's getting poor on the ole ebay.

Last day tomorrow at the holiday house as they've sold it - what will I do for a baff then?

    Really feels cold this evening.

Evening all, Jools Holland has had some great music tonight, and we enjoyed the Hendrix programme on t'other night. Just got my 2 night stint of slavery out of the way at a well known supermarket, so looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend, a bit of shopping to do in the morning, and then home to watch England v Ireland in the rugby league world cup.
Our local football club which is at the bottom of our lane gave us a rather loud firework display tonight, our Freddie grumbled a bit and went back to sleep lol.
Oh well, time for bed and a bit of reading for me now. Nite all.

Lawn mower, with a new jockey arm, is on its way back to cut through the silage cut that's grown in the last few weeks. Hopefully get some grass cut before the torrential rain that's meant to hit, its clear here now, but the grass is of course heavily wet :(. It will look a mess but has to be done, If I cut it high as possible today I can do something neater soon hopefully. Hate the idea of going into winter with long grass, as we have to walk over the grass everyday, getting lengths right to be wear resistant but short enough to not drench over short boots and to see dog poops!
They are cutting silage up the road in fact, November silage.

Well after waiting up for youngest to come home from a night out. I slept like a log, and haven't long got up...

LIR... good luck with the grass cutting..

Weather is chucking it down here...

got back into my 'taking full advantage of supermarket offers and coupons ' yesterday:D:D;)

the 'smellie' sets were half price in mr T's lynx etc plus this category you could buy with your club card boost points ( where you can double up your club card points and buy certain things in store) so I doubled my spend up to £30:T

I also had a £4 off a £30 spend voucher, 65p off multi pack of kitikat cat food, 25p off bakery doughnuts... etc..

basically my shopping came to £37. oo ( which included 8 items at half price)

To cut a long story short I paid £2,55 cash for 8 smellie gift sets ( crimbo pressies) 6 tins of cat food, 1 pack of dinky doughnuts, a large box of washing powder( this was half price too) and some other little bits:T:T:T

think I need a cuppa after all that:D how it was gooto get back to the good old days of taking full advantage of couponing:A...which is a rare treat now:o
