Is there much left to do, Rummer?

Fingers crossed they finish today. Everything has been plumbed in and the tiles are on/down with most of the grouting done. Today should just be refitting the cabinet, hanging the mirror and sealing the bath and sink along with a few other bits to seal. I just want to put in my pretty towels :rotfl:

Hubby is not keeping too well so I think the next few days will be spent indoors giving him time to recoup so we have put the heating on and will just have to magic the extra pennies from somewhere. It is when you are under the weather that you fall into bad habits such as takeaways etc so I will need to rein that back in again and start making instead of spending money.

    Alfie how ghastly. :(.

Went to London yesterday, think it went ok. Have to see him again in about a month. Next time I might drive and pay congestion charge, just not sure my car is reliable enough.

    :j:j:j Welcome back :j:j:j

Alfie I think you need to sit and have a cuppa and a biscuit.

We are getting places with the bathroom and I am so hoping that it is finished today. I have spent day after day in the house not doing anything productive and I am keen to spend a few days out and about seeing friends and making the most of my time. Mind you when the bathroom is done we finally have to face the dining room/nursery

What I really want is the cleaning/organising fairies to arrive and make the house exactly as I want it by clearing out the clutter and selling it all off to make a tidy profit. Then decorating, cleaning and quietly leaving all within the space of an afternoon while I relax with a cuppa and a giant slab of cake. Once they have finished I could add a few pretty touches and some flowers.

However that is unlikely so I am having a coffee and then going to face the dining room, wish me luck!

    I do that, lots.

I see it sitting there after using it on t'internet and I think, "Oo-er missus, that shouldn't be just lying about!" so I hide it in a really obscure place. :D

    And then I forget!

The longest it ever went missing was about a week..... till I got near the bottom of my underpants shelf. :rotfl:

    But I have reformed...almost. :o

Have you got somewhere to park? Do you have a Blue Badge? You can get let off congestion charge if you have a Blue Badge, but I think you have to pay a one off charge at beginning. Sorry am a bit vague about it, but it's automatic for Motability cars. Parking is horrid difficult in London though - we even got a ticket outside DD1's house when we were there in the spring to meet new grandson - he was going for small op (tongue tie) and I was so worried I forgot to put up the blue badge - warden was not helpful and in the end OH just paid up as his letter explaining got "lost" as he stupidly didn't send it Signed For. (rolls eyes)

Alfie, I just don't know what to say. Hugs.
