Sorry am a bit vague about it, but it's automatic for Motability cars. Parking is horrid difficult in London though - we even got a ticket outside DD1's house when we were there in the spring to meet new grandson - he was going for small op (tongue tie) and I was so worried I forgot to put up the blue badge - warden was not helpful and in the end OH just paid up as his letter explaining got "lost" as he stupidly didn't send it Signed For. (rolls eyes)
Alfie, I just don't know what to say. Hugs.
Not yet. I started a thread on the disability board about blue badge. I go up and down, and I just don't know if I feel I need one. My good days it definitely is not, and my issue is I feel fraudulent applying for one based on those days. I'm really up in the air over it and it was interesting to see it provoked really strong responses. I think ultimately I cannot see my applying in 2013. And I know it takes a while anyway, We'll see. I managed yesterday on the tube and train with a stick. I got one taxi, and mainly because of time, from a restaurant to the train station to come home, to get the last train in the evening!
I have some where to park in congestion charge zone, and might me worth me paying it.0 -

In that case could you not apply for one and if successful use it only when you feel you need it?Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Well, that's what people keep saying to do, but when i asked about eligability they said if you can walk more than 100 metres unaided then you're pretty unlikely to get it. There are qualifiers I meet like pain etc, but on a good day I can run skip and jump. Ona bad day I crawl. Every day, whether I crawl or use sticks or whatever, I walk more than 100 metres alone, just to let the chickens out I do that.0 -
Does it not mean comfortably walk that distance as in it is not painful or a challenge on a bad day?Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
