Apparently a 5' x 30" tub holds approx 50 gallons.
If you want to work it out properly it says do l x w x h x 7.5
or if you do foreign an average 1700 x 700mm bath holds approximately 180 litres up to overflow level.0 -

Yep, you (well your skin) would be like a pickled walnut if you had enough baths to fill your pit in 3 days.0 -
The weather has been rainy all day and I am secretly delighted
it was nice to step outside and have the air all clear and fresh. Now however I am ready for it to stop
I am also pleased that it is dark early at nights and that I have been able to curl up on the couch with the lamp on without feeling I have to be out making the most of the daylight.
However I have been unwell and have to stay at home for the next few days unless I am going to the hospital or doctors
I remember my mum telling me that when she had to spend time in the house with my sister and I when we were very young and had whooping cough then chickenpox that she got so fed up of the staring at the decor she had the living room redecorated as soon as we were well. I am trying not to notice the dust.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Oh dear Rummer. Sorry to hear you're not so good.
We're all falling apart at the seams.
I've shared a long distance cold with LIR. Mine hasn't involved the runny nose. Hope that's not still to come.
I've had a razor blade throat, bunged up nose (yep, it makes you go deaf, LIR) & a cough reminiscent of the old men of my childhood who'd smoked more cigarettes than their age daily for decades.
I did get out to the hairdressers, though
So I look respectable ........ if seen from far enough away to blur out the black rings under the eyes :rotfl:0 -

I am barely coughing. Coughing is a bit of a 'risk' to my dodgy brain. (Doesn't muc like being hurtled about by a cough and everything gets more pressured , and really pain ful so I've been releived about that. Its part of why I've not been exerting myself, because I don't want to cough lots.
The throat was only bad this morning today, its been ok through the day . Certainly sounds like the same one, huh? Hopefully you'll be over it soon, I'm really pretty much there, my ears are clearing every now and then this evening, so the world will probably be LOUD tomorrow ! That was quite clever of us to transmit it electronically :rotfl:0 -

I'm with you on that!
Having always been MSE, I applaud any smart buys, freebies, stuff that's in lieu of something else, you name it.....anything that hasn't been half-inched, that is.
DIDNT KNOW THAT RULE.....;)
Now come on, I know you wouldn't handle proper stolen goods.:p
I'm not talking about stuff that's just 'compulsorily shared,' like cuttings, seeds, albums that just download themselves from the internet, or the odd trout.
In those cases the owners have no loss, because as far as they're concerned they still have their stuff, whatever it is, or they don't care, so no harm. For example, my Lidl berberis are about 10cm tall now.
I suppose there are a few multi-millionaire rock stars who've gone without a few p in royalties.
Speaking of trout, it's typical that now the close season is upon us, river levels are rising.
Get well soon to all who have early colds, sore throats and whatnot. Pleased to say all my ills are self-inflicted at present. (Another curry tonight!)
