How embarrassing...
Have they never heard of market research? Means you can see people's reactions to stupid ideas before announcing them internationally...0 -
I love all game systems and I have more nintendo products, but Xbox is my favorite.0

I'm really not sure what to buy now that Microsoft have made a U turn on DRM and always online requirements.0

I'm really not sure what to buy now that Microsoft have made a U turn on DRM and always online requirements.
easy, what does xbox offer over the PS4? with the xbox one you get much more, you get to pay another £80, you get the very useful kinect to dust, and you get to pay £40 a month to play online, PS4 include free games each month for the same £40.
unless you really want the kinect and can't live without one of the xbox exclusives then I can't see why paying more money would be preferable.0 -
You get more connectivity options. Kinect doesn't appeal overly to me but with everyone having one then developers will make more use for it rather than dance games. I've never paid £40 for live - it can be got for £25 online.
Lot's of people paid bought the PS3 and it cost considerably more than the 360 so the price probably isn't going to have too much of an effect. There are more 360 gamers, and people are creatures of habit and just reading online the relief that Microsoft have made these changes show that there are going to be lot's of cancelled PS4 pre-orders0 -
Im buying both and the xbox one now they made the u-turn is more appealing to people0

Just found this thread. As an XBOX 360 owner I can't believe what Microsoft were trying to do with DRM and the Online Handshake. Wow! What was they thinking at all. Glad they have a Con-Dem style U turn tho.0

After explaining that they couldn't just flip a switch to remove DRM as "the console was built from the ground up to accommodate this" and then proceeding to do just that four days later, I wouldn't trust Microsoft to not just introduce it slowly later on through patch updates.
PS4 for me!0 -
