Good morning everyone
feeling very positive this morning - got up early so I'm feeling really organised and ready for anything! Which is good as I've got my final day of revision planned - soup for lunch at 1PM and then a vegetable and potato bake for tea around 7PM.
Hope everyone has a good day, and -hugs- for those who want/need them.

Morning everyone, hope you all have a good day.
Second load of washing in hope to make the most of the good weather today as forecast is not loooking good for the rest of half term, well nothing new there then. Glad we didn't go camping this week, but we are going to Lancashire at the end of July. Just ordered our clubcard deals for a day at Blackpool Pleasure, thank you Tescos.
Well let's hope the weather cheers up soon.

Morning all
Happy Birthday Master Queenie :j Hope he has a lovely day.
Jett - Sounds like you're in need of a hug - is there any hormonal reason why you're so tearful? Maybe a trip to the docs is in order? Hope you have a better day today.
Cat - Good luck with all those LO's and BO's today, I used to find it so much easier when the BO's were there to help amuse the LO's.
Yellowmonkey - Enjoy your grocery challenge - as for the making hay while the sun shines.....juding by these big clouds drifting in over the chanel you'd better be quick!
What lousy weather yesterday!!! Had to have the heating on for most of the day. Was DD2's 9th birthday yesterday and a trampoline and bbq party was organised....turned into a "let's all fall out and have a shouting match" party.......9 year old girls are horrible (well some are). I ended up having to raise my voice to them all in the end.....and don't get me started on manners!! Anyway - DD2 had lots of lovely pressies and said she had a nice day.
Going to be making Queenies meatloaf before heading out to the cinema for a half term treat.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Morning Guys!
We were only out for 2hrs yesterday but I am completely shattered:rolleyes: ...we were going out for a drive and some how managed to land at Thurrock:eek:   ...DD went into Primarks and got herself some lovely summery bits. She kept picking these just knicker covering skirts asking if she can have one.....me dont think so!! Bought myself 2 poloshirt style tops and DD hunted out the bargains:D ...she spent about £40 but got loads for it. My mum sent me a £50 Boots voucher last week to "treat" myself, so I ended up spending all of it plus another £27 on Clinique stuff:eek:     2 items I needed as I was running low but they had just had released a new night cream (£45)and as my skin is quite poor ATM (think its the meds/illness...well thats my excuse:p )...I thought...what the heck! So the result wasnt too bad.....night cream (big size 6 months+), large 400ml Clarifying Lotion 2(bought this with my advantage points:D ), Large Day cream and a very mild facial wash. I asked for freebies and she gave me loads:j ...DD has nicked the leather make-up box:mad: ....used the night cream last night and no kidding, it has made my face so soft....well maybe its my mind telling me that after spending so much money on it:rotfl: DD then treated us to a BurgerKing:D
Today we are staying in as we will be bankrupt otherwise..LOL. So far today we have done 2 washloads, swept and spot moped the floors downstairs, scrubbed the toilet and floor, bleached down kitchen, wiped out fridge, wiped down bin and OH is currently weeding the jungle outside. DD is revising and has the car to clean out.
Tomorrow we are going to France and leaving at 4.30AM:eek:     ...I have been brushing up my french and have changed some cash up to euros. We are planning to go to the local market then CitiEurope and maybe a picnic on the beach if the weather holds outIm taking our hard box cooler with packs so that I can buy cheese, ham, butter and pate:D ....Im really looking forward to it. OH wants some hard drinks-but he is paying for them, we do need wine though and love the Chenet which we can get 6 bottles for £11. Any idea of prices for cheese/ham etc over there?
Must crack on with my last essay of this course this week and will be sooooo glad when it is finished. I have not enjoyed it at all!
Anyway, Im off to make a brew. Hugs to all.
