    Morning all :D

Hope you all had a great weekend. Unfortunately I didn't get as much done as I hoped mostly due to the weather but did get half of the hedge done (it's quite a large garden and I wasn't just slacking) also measured up the house to decide what we are going to do with it as it needs to be completely gutted and started again really.

Also managed to get a load of washing done, so that means I now have a mountain of ironing to look forward to for the rest of the week!

Apart from that it's back to normal this week I think although I am hoping the weather stays nice as I'm keen to finish the rest of the garden.

Hope everyone is keeping ok but if not take or leave the :grouphug: as needed

    Morning all!

Thanks everyone for your support and congratulations at the weekend. I see a lot of you are studying at the moment and working and looking after families- keep at it, you do get there in the end. I nearly gave up so many times. And hopefully your family will be a bit more proud of you than mine seemed to be! B****y teenagers! They have been really nice since Saturday. DD1 had her last exam yesterday and came home a bit worse for wear wanting some money to go to a nightclub. Told her I wouldn't stop her going but she wasn't getting any money. She went upstairs to get ready and fell asleep :rotfl:

Mioliere - have the most fantastic time in France. 4 weeks on Friday until I go.

Enjoy your morning N9eav - bit dull here but dry.

    Catowen - what's a BO?

Scuzz - so glad you are going to talk to bf. I think you have to know where you are before you make any major life changing decisions. People here really care about you, you know!

Good luck in the grocery challenge Yellow monkey. I might think of doing it some time. I've just started cooking properly and we so like good food here. With DD1 going off to Uni and the humungous loan I've just taken on money is going to be even tighter so I'm going to have to save somewhere.

got a long trip today. did think of taking the train but the times just didn't fit so driving. Hate that, seems such a waste of time - 4 hours round trip. Have managed to get some weeding done and walked the dog. Hung a washing out - what an optimist I am!

Have a good day all who've been and all who'll follow

    Good Morning All

Mioliere - safe journey & have a brilliant time
(((Scuzz))) sorry to here about your friend.

Weather nice here in Essex, but looking at the forcast its only for today. 1 load just about to finish in the wm and another load waiting.

Its lovely at the moment as everyone else is in bed, will check my bank bal's online, get dressed and either take puppy for a walk or clean my bathroom. I adore being on my own.

Good news - decorating is done bar a couple of things that builder will pop back this week for - 1 being that I cant open my dw since he put the plinth on! Big clean in kitchen is required. There is still plaster dust on top of the units - need oh to help me with that one. When they are spotless will put paper on top of them so can just replace it periodically. Hopefully this morning oh will put back all my dining room furniture in the dining room - clearing my living room at last. Am really please how it looks.

This afternoon have a dentist checkup at my old dentist (didnt change him when I moved) which is an hour away at Southend so once have been there are taking the kids to Adventure Island curtesy of Mr T. Luckily they are the age and height where they can go on the rides on their own, so will settle down with a coffee and watch.

Probably will be in late so will grab fish and chips or have something on toast later.

    Have a great day.

Told kids we were thinking of going camping in july, so they are excited about that, still not sure how lo would get on though:rolleyes:

    Kyle

Well i hope you have a nicer time than we did .... came back a day early. Started off when we got off the bus at the train station and i reminded dd not to forget the bag with the sleeping mats in .... she had left them at home. Back we went. Started again - all went well - until the heavens opened and we discovered that my pac-a-mac had lost it's macness and was very definitely leaking - no matter we'll buy another one - cheap as chips are pac-a macs. Got off train, walked mile to campsite and pitched tent. Realised as soon as it was up that it was going to be a problem being low and long and mildly claustrophobic. Walked into town and had a mooch whereupon we found a very posh campshop which could sell me a new waterproof jacket for £40  - I declined obviously. On the way back dd said her foot was hurting. Well she had a spot of athlete's foot by the looks of things so I cleaned it and put dry socks on her but she was obviously in some pain. Went to bed and she whimpered all night with the pain. I decided that we would go home the next morning and the rest of the night went like this - what time is it? half two .... what time is it now ... quarter to three .... how about now .... three am .... you didn't even look .... I JUST KNOW - TRY TO SLEEP! ... what time is it ...

The next morning her poor foot was very swollen and red so I popped her into the hostel reception and packed by myself in the rain and called a cab to the station - 6.95 for 1 mile  exoh picked us up from the station and we went straight to the pharmacist who told us to get her to hospital as the foot was obviously infected. Three hours later a bite has been diagnosed, two antibiotics prescribed and a biro line has been drawn around the redness so we can see if it is getting any worse. she also has a temperature of just over 100. She swears that apart from the foot the trip was brilliant so we will be going again next month - after I have acquired a nicer tent and a new cagoule

    have fun Kyle :)

The update is that I have since drawn two more biro lines - one a t 10pm and one at 7am and the infection is still spreading but her temperature has gone down a fair bit. exoh will pass by at lunchtime and take us back to the hospital if necessary. He is also bringing my shopping I hope. We got back from hospital at about five so I cycled to tesco to do the shopping before six. did it all and swigged a bottle of pepsi on the way round as I was feeling very sugar-low - got to the check-out - no purse :o do feel bad about that pepsi

Todays plans are for dd to sit very quietly and watch telly and for me to wash the sleeping bags, damp clothes etc. and decide whether to go to work tomorrow - have a good day all

    Hi everyone.

We have sunshine :-) lousy weather over the weekend though. Rained all day on Sunday.

Going to have a quietish sort of day today. The girls had a friend over for a sleep over. DD aged 16 has just woken up, but the others are still sound asleep lol.

Tonight I'm doing a stir fry and rice. Had some beef left over from yesterdays dinner, and some prawns from Sunday. So will bung it all in :-) Will need to pop out and get some beansprouts though because I find that the frozen packs (which I usually use in stir frys) don't have very many, and I love them :-)

Washed my hair with some shampoo the pther day, and it's reacted on me. My neck is horrible. Feels like I've been sunburnt. My head is itchy as well. It's very annoying and frustraing as I want to scratch, but it's too tender lol. My 21yr old son said I need to put some tree green stuff on it. He said he'll pick me up some.

I might get some cakes made later to freeze down for future use :-) My 16yr old daughter said the other night that all she seems to eat these days are homemade bread and homemade cakes "I never seem to feel hungry afterwards though" she said lol. My 19yr old daughter wants me to show her how I made the no cook chocolate bars because she loved them. She wants to make some to take to her house group on Thursday night.

(Sounds like the girls are on the move.) They want to go on a walk this morning and take a picnic.

I actually got the ironing done yesterday :-) Nice to have an empty ironing basket, even if it's for a short while lol.

Everyone have a blessed and prosperous day.

    Hugs to all.

    Hi every1,

I'm such a misery guts at the mo its unreal!! Couldn't stop crying yesterday or this morning and just hearing the kids say 'Muuuuuuum' makes my head feel like exploding! They never get up later than half 6 and just seeing that time on the clock depresses me. They got up at 6 this morning and I made them put clothes on over their pjs and we took the dog for a long walk. I was fine when we were out, but then the minute we get back I'm in floods again! There are so many positives to look at that I feel soooo stupid for being so upset. I feel like I need a week in a padded cell!!

Positives: no doggy pooh everywhere this morning!!, have washed up and cleaned hob, only 1 load of washing to do, kids were dry last night

Hope every1 has a gr8 day and hugs to all those that need/want them.

Have a gr8 time in France mioliere

Goodmorning, and a quick reply from me (will read through later today)

Busy day today thankfully the weather is looking nicer, shooting off in to town in a bit, have dvds borrowed from the library to take back, that is now the downside to using the bigger one an hour away from me, need to get a few bits whilst i am there, i then need to go along to the CAB to do my houseing appeal, system sucks supposed to be out my army quarter by the 19th july yet cannot get on a housing list anywhere.

after that i need to get some shopping, this is going to take the patience of a saint as will have my 3 year old with me (love half term just not having to do shopping with them all) he is one of these children that is caught up by colourfull wrappings and such and since i have stopped buying so much he is more obsessed when we are shopping with getting me to buy it (as you can imagine a 3 year old on the floor with people looking at you not great). trying to stick to just getting milk(i go through 4 pints a day easy) fruit and veg for the week as i have everything for my meal planner in freezer and cupboards

was nice to get up this morning and knowing all the ironing etc was done so have not a huge amount of work in the house to do today, but i must try sorting Bradleys suits, just did not find the time yesterday.

sausages out of freezer (last night) so on plan for my meal plan today, if worst comes to it can pick milk up at local shop thus resisting temptation to buy too much when out, i just dont like paying 47p more for the 4 pints than it costs me to buy 4 pints 2 miles away in lidls

off to get the boys dressed, have a good day

    Good morning!:D

Just back from the gym, and the sun is shining so I'm happy. The washing machine is whirring away on it's second load of the day, as I loaded one lot before I went out! (Must remember to shine up my halo:p ) The washing line will need a good scrub down though after all that rain. I don't want nasty black marks all over my nice clean whites.

Well the bank holiday really was a washout wasn't it? Really cold in London too, my heating was fully utilised:rolleyes:

Not sure about plans for today. Know DH wants the car at some point and I need it to go fetch all the veggies for the Lunchclub tomorrow, so a spot of negotiating there I think;) Also need to have a rummage through the freezer to find something for dinner.

    (((((hugs)))))) to scuzz and jet.

stefejb hope DD is better today. Shame about the camping, it can only be better next time:rotfl:

mioliere have a great holiday, and don't forget the tissues for the wedding:D

Hope everyone has a good day,

    CMx
