your posts on this threads are horrific absolutely horrific.
dktreesea makes a habit of posting these kinds of responses on threads. Sad attention seeker doesn't even begin to cover it.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -

I've not heard the term before but assume it's something sexual."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000 -
Do you even know what my colour skin is or where my roots come from?
Not to get off the beaten track look at my avator. An Ancient Egyptian symbol, that would indicate I love Ancient Egypt would it not? What colour skin were the Ancient Egyptians (ok maybe you won't know that but there is evidence out there) - the same colour skin as todays Egyptians maybe.
Your not quite calling me a racist but there are underlying tones there.
I am white, but due to my Indian routes have very dark hair, eyebrows, because I am very dark and because of my routes I have to shave everyday. I am also Welsh with Irish and English () parents/grandparents!
Sigh. Isn't the whole point that ethnic origin is immaterial????? I have no clue and even less wish to examine further....
Bigotry is bigotry. The OP and her friend are innocent. The bigots try to make them provocative to suit their agenda.
Myself? I think think the genealogogists would struggle to label me anything less than than Viking or Norman. Should that mean I am worthy of being spat at on the bus? According to some forum members it does. dktreesea, I'm looking at you.....0 -

I guess it depends on whether you are calling a person who has an ethnic background bigoted on a subject like the OP's. I've been called a paki before now, I find it amusing though!

Of course they are, S certainly didn't get dressed that day with the intention of upsetting a drunken idiot on a bus.

As for spitting and being a Viking or Norman, I must have missed the post that suggested it is ok to spit on them.99.9% of my posts include sarcasm!Touch my bum :money:Tesco - £1000 , Carpet - £20, Barclaycard - £50, HSBC - £50 + Car - £1700SAVED =£0Debts - £28500 -

What doesn't ring true? Maybe I could clear it up. Does anyone understand the doorbell comment, I don't quite get it. Was it just drunken burbling, or is it an actual phrase meaning something?
Pinkbubbles, my only comment is that you should ignore the extremes of bigotry and prejudice. Some people's lives are so empty that bullying people on the internet seems the norm. More fool therm.
My advice is that you and your friend live life to the full and ignore the internet bullies. You are worth so much more than the sad saps who whine about TV programmes here or there,0 -

Turning the other cheek as you suggest is condoning it. Those who ALLOW abuse are just as culpable as those of practice it.

You had a go at me for pretty much telling the OP to not let it get to her and ignore it, and then you said the above??!!99.9% of my posts include sarcasm!Touch my bum :money:Tesco - £1000 , Carpet - £20, Barclaycard - £50, HSBC - £50 + Car - £1700SAVED =£0Debts - £28500 -

I don't quite know what it is, but it could be sentence construction, terms of reference, language used. It doesn't sit right with me for a 15 year old. And I do have a lot of experience with that age group;) Call it gut feel.
That is not to say it is not a good topic for debate, but in the abstract I suppose it doesn't have the same human appeal;) Just my opinion.0 -

I'd say avoid the internet bullies whose lives are so empty that tormenting other at arm's length fulfills their sad existence.
if the internet bullies need just justification for their bile I would say:
"Why are you so pathetic?"
Marker, this includes you.
Stand proud as who you are. Or be an internet bully.0 -
This thread has made me feel so sad and angry at the same time. I think some of the so called adults on here are forgetting the OP is clearly a very kind caring YOUNG GIRL who certainly doesn't deserve to have any racist comments or comments about how her or her friend dress made to her.
At 15 years old she should be carefree and oblivious to the disgusting behaviour of the so called adults in the world.
I'm really sorry you and your friend went through what you did, but please remember that these vile people are a minority, and not everyone shares their views. I think your friend is lucky to have you as a friend, and I think that you come across as a very grounded, well spoken and very kind person and I hope you are never subject to this kind of behaviour again.
I am ashamed that people in our country can be so cruel.0
