Spare room done, bedding went in on the boil wash to give the WM a good 'do' as well, two lots on the line. I'm exfoliated, pedi/mani cured, de-fuzzed,primped and preened.

Well done you two for avoiding the chemical path, I had two weeks on Fluoxitine last summer and it was worse than the Black Dog of Depression itself. Touch wood it hasn't reared it's head again but if you know your own triggers (exhaustion, frustration, alcohol etc) you know when your bad days are going to be. I like that folks can have a rant/offload on here too.

When the hairdresser offers me a coffee, I'll ask for a vodka to steady my nerves.

Take care, chins up, holidays are on the horizon..

Michelle, my children are all grown up now (youngest is 22) but I can remember just how it felt when they were small. Very isolated and I had no help from family, only DH. I used to fantasise about living in a cottage all by myself.

Of course, now two of them have left home it's not as good as I thought it would be!

But I remember the tears and the wailing (and that was me). And walking out of the bedroom because I had such an urge to sock them one and hitting the banister rail instead.

Just come here and moan as much as you need to.

Can you remember how you got the bruise Pigpen?

The cable man has been and we've got ANOTHER new box. Please can everyone cross their fingers for me.

Got the grass cut back and front now, it's really warm out there. I'm a bit worried it will trigger off some rain, the clouds look a bit iffy. I would like my washing to dry first please.

    Coffee time.

    YEP!!

My SIL grabbed one arm... my MIL grabbed the other and they both pulled.. but my legs wouldn't walk so I fell flat on my face.. PMSL... I then took off my rather gorgeous 4 inch heels and put them in my bag and put on my flat comfy shoes... and walked to the next pub!

    See... I remember!!

Michelle I know what you mean about 'escaping' on here, being frazzled, the tears when it gets too much etc you're definately not alone, just took myself off Prozac over the last few weeks, been hard, using Bach's Rescue Remedy when I need to at the minute. There is a permenant smell of lavendar in the house as I have an essential oil burner on to keep things calm, seems to be helping the boys too and DS1 has got used to it now so no ARGHH!!! about the smell.

I am actually not looking forward to coming off my meds, they are the only thing that keep me sane, and I don't want to end up back how I was.

I am definitely not coming off my meds. Life was hell before and I am not going back to that. Me and DH are both on low doses which just keeps us ticking along nicely.

Pigpen, I got a huge bruise on my arm last night when I got into bed and landed on DHs pointy elbow. It looks like someone thumped me.:rotfl:
