    Morning everyone.

Another late night from my boy last night, so i still don't know whether i am on my head or toes. Then when we finally got him to bed after 2 car rides and 3 pairs of PJs for me, and 3 sleepsuits for him, i managed to mark 10 papers, and DH managed to list 4 of his things on ebay. More than we felt like doing i can tell you, but i bribed DH with a custard doughnut. ;) I know what motivates him.

looks like i'm in for another day of it today, so i will just chuck my list in quickly and then try to get on. Quite a lot of washing to do i think.

Yeah, very well done Maralum! He's obviously in need of help but it will take him to see it himself and seek it out. Well done for not losing your cool - that takes real courage. And this board is here to help even if only virtual moral support and hugs! Weirdly, it does help!! ... Owen would be welcome poor mite... nose bleeds are frightening at that age - trouble is he'd end up with CP AND nose bleeds AND my cold which I wouldn't wish on anyone!

rotz.gif Still feeling real bad - dreadful night but went to ASDA first thing and did the shopping and put it away. Dusted the bedrooms but not done the skirting as every time I bend down my nose pours again!!! S&S'd the bathroom this am and waiting for the second load of washing to finish - did the bathmats so hope it stays fine - and the 1st lot is on the line.

Need to go to PO today too and will go and get some Night Nurse so I can try for a nights sleep tonight.

Sorry no posh coloured list - too much effort but I will be flapping feebly with you all regardless !!

Love to all and have a lovely time those who are off out gadding, or just staying in and chilling!!

Accepting the offer on the house today so fingers crossed these dont back
    out !!!

Morning. Feeling slightly better today, still having trouble focusing on the screen due to hot/tired eyes so I won't be about again today. Yesterday I did manage to do all the dailies & all the washing (5 loads!) but today is homework day. Not looking forward to it as I now HATE Mr Men - DD has been reading them non-stop since September for homework and they're now driving me MAD.

Oh well, I'm off for a bath to see if it makes me feel better and DD is going to watch TV. I think we'll start homework at 10am and so the "15 mins" with timer and then a 5 minute break - DD loves that method.

Right off for a bath as soon as I've done Pigsback for today. C U later xxx

Well done, Mara, it's not easy staying calm when you're dealing with someone as irrational as your ex seems to be.

    Morning all

Today I will mostly be waiting for the cable man to come again.

Got up this morning and Polly (dog) had managed to get both her front legs out the neck of her t-shirt. I had a terrible time trying to get it off, goodness knows how she managed it. Wish I'd had a webcam in there last night! But, she had obviously been licking her scar and went straight to lick it again when I got the t-shirt off. She's got a clean one on now. I wish she would leave it alone, I really don't want her to have to have it done again.

Two loads of washing done and on the line, including the throws from the living room. Meg (cat) was out in the garden on her back "rabbit kicking" one of the throws and got it off the line one end. Twice. Cowbag. Extra pegs in it now. She says I'm no fun.

Can't do much else because I'm afraid of not hearing the cable man come. I vacuumed yesterday afternoon so it looks fine. I'd like to cut the grass later, otherwise it will have to be tomorrow.

Well done Mara on being strong.

Right - might get more than a minute this time.

Just having a cool drink and a sit down as i am boiling from walking to baby clinic. Monkey is now asleep. Health visitor also thinks he is trying it on and has suggested some methods for tonight to get him to sleep, as he is mainly having attachment issues to me and noone else but me.

I feel a bit bad as i bumped into a neighbour i don't know at baby clinic, and it would have been the perfect opportunity to introduce myself and make friends with her, and i have purposely been trying to do so for 11 weeks since her little one was born, and i end up not doing anything apart from look rude, as i'm trying not to cry cos i've already had an hour of crying and mardiness this morning and my stress levels are through the roof. Keep repeating to myself - it is just a phase!!

pollybear - don't know how you managed to get a t-shirt on the dog. And to think some people dress their pets up like that for fun!

mara - loved the decluttering for the soul. And you are so right, it makes you feel better to get it out on here.

nicki - hope your eyes are better soon, cos your lists usually remind me of something i need to do

rach - glad to see you back. It's such hard work planning a wedding that you will find it helps to put the fly-lady principles to that too.

anyway, going to make a cuppa, and then try and do a bit of marking and make the most of his sleeping, cos he will sure make up for it later

    hugs all round

Pollybear hope she manages to leave it alone, what a little tike she sounds!

Maralum, well done on not loosing it, I've got no patience at all with drunks, hope it puts him off and he leaves you alone.

Boston and Nikki hop you are both feeling better soon. Boston fingers, toes and everything crossed for the sale.

Must say I used to love Mr Men, I had a massive collection of books I was given by Roger Hargreaves when I was about 2 years old, we were on holiday on the Isle of Wight when we met him he was living next door to where we were staying, I don't remember obviously. Darn mother gave the books away, most of which were signed by him.

Michelle, hope the tips work, you've had a lot on lately, sounds like you're a little worn out (sorry not meaning to be rude just going bythe comments and what you've been up to etc) hope things get better soon, knowing not long until you're away might be just what you need! I know I'm looking forward to our little break. .

Well I DID the boys rooms yesterday, but they are up there playing again, I know they've stripped DS2s bed to make a tent etc, so no doubt will have it all to do again! Saying that this time they can help. Bribes maybe needed but was going to put money in their boxes for hols so they can earn it instead :D

Kitchen still upside down with DPs stuff but going by his to do list it'll all be done today as he's away on Sunday racing so hopefully as of this evening it'll be gone, wishful thinking maybe. Winds me up when he's got the stuff out for days, little bench space as it is and when he takes up 99% of it shoving the rest aside makes doing anything in the kitchen tricky!

Dailies list to get through and need to get the garden done, which is why I did their room yesterday. Weather is lovely outside so hopefully have planned that well. Going to get the dog beds done and their room disinfected aswell.
One day I might be more organised...........

I think frazzzled is my word of the moment. I know i'm worn out as DH found me crying on the bathroom floor with Charlie laid on his changing mat when he got in last night. I just feel out of control.

I'm having to watch as i know my depression is not well under control at the moment and i don't want to go the tablet route.

I find being here really helps, and i can't wait for the holiday too as i'm sure it will make the in-laws have a great time if they are actively involved, and i may actually get a bit of a guilt free rest.

bummer about them books lil-me. I bet they would be worth a fortune now.

Michelle I know what you mean about 'escaping' on here, being frazzled, the tears when it gets too much etc you're definately not alone, just took myself off Prozac over the last few weeks, been hard, using Bach's Rescue Remedy when I need to at the minute. There is a permenant smell of lavendar in the house as I have an essential oil burner on to keep things calm, seems to be helping the boys too and DS1 has got used to it now so no ARGHH!!! about the smell.

I've also found out there is some holistic therapy sessions on where we are staying, just got to talk DP into having the boys when I go. Shouldn't be hard, never been to a Pontin's before but from what I know there is loads to do for the kids.

Reminded me there actually, I need to do a packing list, I usually have it done months in advance :o just not organised this time. Need to go to Newcastle next week too to Bravissimo seeing as I've found out there is one up here now, need a swimming costume that doesn't let me fall out of it :o

The books, Mother was good at that, had all the 'Story Teller' books and tapes (some may remember these) but she loaned them to my cousin who destroyed them. Actually, wonder when she'll let me know where she's living. She moved out of the house she shared with my Dad 3 weeks ago, haven't seen or spoken to her.

cha97michelle, Be careful you are not overdoing things. I used to mark GCSE papers and I don't know how you manage baby and marking. The deadlines are so tight. You really do need ME time. I also understand about the depression and trying to keep it controlled. I just lose the plot when I get over tired. Have you got anyone who can help out until marking is finished and out of the way? You can pm me if you need a chat. I know how much you need your holiday, just keep that as your goal to work towards without burning yourself out.
