Weather now has changed from pouring rain to drizzle - hope its better tomorrow.
Pirates was very good, very long but good. Everyone else in Essex decided to go as well it felt like, luckily we had booked our tickets.
Chinese was lovely and still not hungry now.
Painter has done well today but it is horrible coming home to a disorganised and dirty house, oh has just hoovered and I think I will clean the bathroom in a minute then early night as have a headache.
Have told the kids they must occupy themselves tomorrow as really need to get on with some paperwork, which will hopefully leave only phonecalls for Tuesday.
Thats enough from me.
See you tomorrow.0 -

Aussielass my mother used to use left over cold black tea to put on cotton balls and put on sore eyes.
You could also bathe your eyes using water that has been boiled and cooled down slightly.
My DDs are hoovering madly- lots of clutter has been put in the loft - we have not even seen a house we want yet - or put ours on the market - kitchen is about one sixth painted - eek!
I am just letting it all swirl around me!!!"This site is addictive!"

Good evening everyone,
elona - Congratulations
csarine - hope your DH is ok now xxx
Well, football yesterday was interesting - admirer was obviously a bit shy, and maybe embarrassed as he didnt come near me!!! we had to leave early, as we went to see Pirates of the Carribean 3 (i was doing a trailer verification on 6 showings, so the children watched whilst i did that!!) They loved it, and i saw the last 10 minutes - will just say, if anyone is going to see it, please watch til the end of the credits - its not much to wait for, but i think its important!!! Anyway, must admit, i wasnt overly impressed from a distance with admirer, and then later when i saw some of the other mums, they said he looked like a Neandethal (sp) man, lived with his mum and was taking driving lessons, so hardly catch of the day!!! As im in no rush to meet anyone, im not bothered, and it is lovely to think someone was interested!!!! He may be nice, who knows, but i dont think i will be getting excited just yet.
After the cinema, we went to a BBQ (one of the football mums birthdays) and we had a lovely time - DS playing with a few of his football pals, DD playing with our hosts dog (she loved him, now wants a puppy herself, that or a giant millipeed??!!) and myself and the others drinking lots of wine, and eating some lovely food. I even joined in with the Kareoke late in the evening!! We ended up getting home about 2am - so i let my 2 have a lie in this morning, and they have just gone to have an early night, after such a late one today!!!
Today - we went to my friends house for a buffet lunch, as it is her fiances birthday, so we had a lovely afternoon there, we never seem to go anywhere, and all of a sudden we have 2 invites in the same weekend!!!
Right, off to check my 2 are in bed,
Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Hi All
Hope you have all survived the awful weather that seems to be rumbling around the UK today. We had rain here this morning but fortunately cleared up a bit by lunchtime.
Didn't venture forth today as Edinburgh marathon was on which meant road closures down our way.
However, got all my ironing up to date and some stuff shoved away in the loft. I am seriously thinking about hiring a skip and having a good clear out up there! I did an HNC about 8 years ago and I have two years of notes and assessments filling huge files!!! I know the course work is now different so it probably wouldn't help anyone else. It is just a thought to put out 2 years of hard slog and achievement. DS did his Year 1 HNC when I was doing Year 2 and I am sure his stuff is up there too. However, we both have the certificates to prove we did it! It was one of the proudest days of my life when I attended my graduation ceremony, considering I left school at 16 with nothing! My picture was even in the local paper!!!
Hope you are all having a good bank holiday weekend. I don't get the holiday tomorrow.
Good to be back in partial touch with you all but hope as I said before to be back to normal service next week!!
Love and hugs to you all.
