Personally I feel incredibly sorry for OP's 'Friend'. I wouldn't like to think that any friend of mine was showing colleagues my photos and insinuating I was an unfit Mother on forums.

I think the reason people reacted the way they did was it was very obvious from the off that the OP didn't like the Mum of the child -and was making a lot of assumptions . How on EARTH she has any idea whether the men involved were random or not defeats me - They could be family friends, cousins -anything. I certainly wouldn't know the family friends or cousins etc of my workmates-let alone my EX workmates.

Her post made my flesh crawl not because I felt there was anything untoward (if there was it's highly unlikely it would be on FB ) but from the image of her and her workmates looking for something unsavoury.

I hope in that situation I'd be saying to my workmate trying to stir things up that she either needs to report her concerns to the appropriate authorities or quit gossiping.

Thats exactly how I felt tbh, and my reaction would also have been "I'm sorry but what has that got to do with you?!" had I been one of the colleagues.

I used bullying, for want of a better word perhaps, but it amounts to the same thing. The OP posted about a situation that she in her mind thought was wrong, she never accused the men of actually doing anything.

I think it actually says more about the mother tbh, I mean what sort of mother posts "my daughter in a hot tub with 6 men"?
C'mon, seriously? I could see anybody posting that title and getting a chuckle from it.

Really?! Wow! Don't you think it's a little bit creepy? You could see from the photo I presume that it was of a little girl and 6 men, to state the obvious just seems like she is trying to big up the situation.

According to the OP the lady in question made the comment about her daughter being in the hot tub before she had posted a picture of it.

So she posted a pic of 6 males (none of which were her family) all age d over 21 with drinks and bottles in their hand in the hot tub with her 3 year old daughter in it (I am guessing she didnt have suitable attire on as could see she didnt have any top on).

I was totally gobsmacked and several friends in work who also seen it were shocked too. Is this appropriate behaviour. or am i being over cautious.

PMSL, so the three-year-old wasn't wearing suitable attire as she didn't have a top on?

OK, I think it's tacky behaviour, but then I don't like FaceBook... or drunken idiots :p

I do think there's an element of women just gossiping and being b1tchy here. Which could be why the posts have been erased and replaced with dots :rotfl:
