There are two issues with it: (i) the temperature could be too hot, (ii) it could seem a bit dangerous.

The fact that the adults were men is irrelevant, but I bet nobody would have mentioned anything if it had been 6 mums.

You are trying to find something that is not there.

A three year old cannot be 'skimpily dressed' - let's not sexualise children before they need to be!

Is it any different if the child is in a house with six 'random' men drinking? Presumably rather than random they are friends of your friend?

Were there just the mother, the six men and the little girl there or is a snap shot of a larger gathering?

She sounds like a right slapper!

I would say, if the men (or at least one of them) were related to or were friends of the family then I would say I wouldn't have a problem with it, however to have 6 random men, then yes, I do think it's inappropriate.

Hot tubs have a shelf to sit on that drops into "deep" water (for a 3 year old), and if there are bubbles then you wouldn't see someone under the water. Little children should not be in hot tubs, Thank goodness there were some adults there too.

Who knows, we don't know the entire story after all. I've been plenty of places where every woman was topless, men were drinking and kids were running around in various stages of nudity. Any family beach in places like the Netherlands for example, or quite a bit of the Mediterranean coast, or at least half the French campsites I've been to.

Bit of an ott reaction imo, my kids have been around my friends and i with a few beers, she was probably only in there for the photo im pretty sure 21 year old men have better things to do than play with 3 year olds

Why not just tell the mum. Or just post a link on her Facebook page to this message board and it'll get the message across. What's the point of being shocked and appalled by the behaviour of someone if you are not going to say anything.

OMG. My DD (2.5) has been in our hot tub 3 or 4 times this week with her dad. She had a bikini on. I took photos and put them on FB because she was having so much fun. It must be abuse!!!


(Okay, so there was nobody else in there and no beer, but what's the difference?!)
