Child wants to get in hot tub, child strips down to knickers to do so. Seems a far more natural response than climbing in fully dressed.

Sorry let me change that. it obviously wasnt just random men off the street it was men invited to the party, but thats not to say the mother knew everyone at the party. Who normally goes to a party and knows everyone. She could well have known them, known them in liberal sense however they were certainly not close friends or family.

You're not sure of your facts at all, are you?

I'd be checking my facts before starting threads like this one.

Well I must be over cautious and strange then cause myself and 4 other female colleagues at work all agreed it was not right to see such a pic posted on facebook for all to see.

Because you told them the same story as you did us?

Because women gossiping will make a mountain out of a molehill?

I am not saying they were likely to be !!!!!philes I am just saying i didnt think it appropriate given her age. I am assuming the mum took the photo yes otherwise someone else might have and messaged it to her as I do know she farms her daughter out on anyone who will have her.

Yes you are. What other reason would you think it was inappropriate and for what other reason would you comment on her attire and for what other reason would you feel the need to discuss it with your workmates and on an internet forum?

Would you have been gobsmacked if the child had been in the hottub with six of her mother's female friends?

Now that's a whole different debate. People put all sorts of stuff on Facebook that I'd never put in a public forum. Would you consider it different if there was a picture of a child surrounded by strangers in swimming costume bottoms or running around starkers on a public beach ?
Edit- the kid, not the strangers being starkers, obviously!

Ah, you're painting a lovely image of a bunch of women b1tching and gossiping. Way to disprove the stereotype!!!

Was it for all to see or just for her friends? If a friend showed you a photo of their child on the beach without a top on would you think it equally inappropriate? At least this was in the privacy of her garden with only people she knew there.

snapshot is just of 6 men and little girl in hot tub no one else was seen and i dont know who took the pic

So you haven't got a clue who else was there, you're just jumping to conclusions because you can't see beyond men and unrelated children interacting somehow being sinister. There could have been a dozen wives, sisters, grandmothers, aunties, girlfriends the other side of the camera.
