Try the 'EasyUse' mobile phone from communic8.
  • I've merged a few similar threads together, I'm sure there is another that I've yet to find. Obviously a lot of the older links are now out of date but it gives you an idea of the type of suitable phones that are out there.
  • you want a "doro" brand phone for big buttons
Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...
  • There is a company called Matobmobile.co.uk who specialise in 'big button' phones or 'easy to use' phones. They also do phones that are hearing aid compatible etc. I bought a couple of mobiles for my parents from them and they are chuffed to bits with them.
  • I puchased one from Clifford James for £49.95 my Dad which he seems to actually be able to use ! For some reason this site won't aloow me to include a link but hope this helps

Doro phones are huge (no pun intended) in Scandinavia, and are launching in a much bigger way in the UK next year so Pay As You Go/ SIM-free prices should drop and they'll become available on contracts too. The low-end Nokias tend to "accidentally" be usable in terms of large buttons and high-contrast displays whereas the Doro is designed ground-up as an ergonomic phone for those with limited movement, eyesight etc.

  • I recommend you to buy Just5 phone. My grandfather uses this one and I’ve witnessed how his lifestyle has shifted from the time my mother got this phone for him. Any aged person will surely enjoy this. In fact, I’m also enjoying this device. It is very easy to use, very convenient for texting, has a louder volume, has long lasting battery, and is truly reliable. When I say reliable, this can be relied on in times of emergency through its features emergency S.O.S. button, which can also turn the device as an alarm when active. This phone is just too superb for almost anyone, I’ll tell you!

No problem with its cost, Just5 phone is reasonably priced. This does not also offer any contract to sign. So no worries to mind! The money you will invest for this phone is all worth it!

Check out their company website. Simply google the Just5 website.
  • Do you know anywhere in the UK that supplies these or do we have to order from the states.
    Cheers
    Robbie
