you must report back on how your aldi shopping goes!

I guess these decisions re medicine sound sensible, it is a huge commitment and no-one would want to miss such a cutie grow up! When will you find out about your job?

Hi Tink and anyone else who might be interested (Cinny I'm looking at you ;) )

PM me the details please! Depending on days I might not be able to do it, but I think my Mum and Sister might be interested :)

Ditto to Tink, when will you hear about your job? I didn't know things would be so bad in terms of your home if you lose your job :(

We will know our rough budget for next year at the end of October/early November. We should know how many jobs are going in my team by end of November. I don't think we'll know who is going until late January though. Basically there are 4.5 planning officers and 1 senior officer, if they get rid of 1 post I'm safe, if they get rid of 1.5 posts I'm probably safe, if they get rid of 2 posts it's 50-50 I'd go as I'd offer to go half time, if they're going to 2.5 or 3 whole officers I'll definitely be for the chop. The first council announced the actual number of jobs to be going yesterday, and it works out at 20% of current staff (on an authority who already got rid of nearly 30% of their staff) - if that's what my authority is doing and it's evenly spread (which it won't be) then I might make it through. But then I know one of our teams currently has 20 people and it's very likely they're being cut to 4 so assuming even cuts is silliness.

Bulk bought lint rollers this morning, £11.45 for 40m. They usually sell 3 packs in the £1 shop, but they're only 1m each so I'd be looking at £10 for 30m plus I'd have to drive there so hopefully I got a better deal, still seems like a crazy amount of money to pick up cat hair.

Grace still struggling with her cold, we were hoping to try a new playgroup today but she's so snotty she's being sick so a nice warm inside day with some peppa pig is in order.

To any mums (or dads) reading - have any of you seen Waybuloo? A friend of a friend put on facebook about how it promotes witchcraft and satanic practice (she was completely serious), I went to watch it and all I can see are a few cgi bunnies doing yoga - am I missing something? Is there a waybuloo episode out there where they slaughter a chicken and draw pentagons with its blood?

Free ebay listing today on 10 day listings if anyone has some bits they didn't get up at the weekend.

That darn satanic yoga!! People's inner crazy comes out on Facebook, that's why I decided to delete it from my phone. Plus, if I saw one more screen shot of something from Tumblr being posted on my feed I was ready to shoot myself. (see, inner crazy)

I guess, in a silver lining way, at least you have some months to work hard and maybe even pay off your debt and have a more level footing if the worst does happen in terms of your job.

Forgot to say Tink, is there any chance of taking a few holiday days? Not even to go away, just to sleep in a little and have a few days of pleasing yourself. You know where I am if you want to talk :) sending hugs!

Tink - hope you are ok xx

That is hilarious about waybuloo, never thought of anything like that. Some people think about things way too much!

Car is getting MOT's and serviced today. Thankfully only what we expected needs doing - new tyre and rear breaks. Still expensive though.

Direct quote on waybuloo 'Full of hypnotism, witchcraft , transferring spirits , meditation and much more', and then a response 'i know, we're struggling to keep him off ben 10 atm' - is ben10 some sort of crack for toddlers? Grace's addiction only goes so far as the occasional break in to the baking cupboard to steal the big bars of chocolate!

When's Birdie back?! Too quiet! Quiet day here, dentist this morning who I'm proud to say I managed not to bite this time, then playgroup. I'm a volunteer at the playgroup, just opening and closing and packing things away. However I found out this evening we're really at risk of closing as we need to make £10 a week and we usually only make about £6. So me and another lady have taken on the task of trying to arrange a couple of special events at playgroup to try to bring in a few more people and raise some money to keep the group open.

:rotfl::rotfl: Oh my god some people really do read far too much into things. I better not let Noah watch it anymore!!
