We've told the other parents enough but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. We have lots of ideas now so hopefully we can turn it around.
I worked out something to do with the airmiles! Virgin have just changed it so you can trade your airmiles in for vouchers you can use on their gift experiences, so we're going to trade around half our miles in and get mum and dad a balloon flight for ChristmasDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That sounds good for the airmiles.
Oh no that sounds horrible , hope it doesn't last long!

Ooh hey the air miles won't be wasted that's good! I hate it when lloyalty points etc go to waste! I have some virgin miles I might look into what I can do with them too if I can trade them for something good..!
No advice for the teeth thing but sounds horrible! Hopefully she'll stop soon!
Really sorry to hear your news rote but it sounds like you're turning it into a positive to get, privates to shift the debt! How much is it? Do you have a plan? Or need us to help?
Birdie glad to see you back and you had a nice time! How's baby bump? Phew that the friends got along!
Would you be able to go to Disney in a group with others with children so you can take it in turns to watch them/go on rides?0 -
Ah thanks everyone. like you said Dinah you start to look at things with different eyes and reassess things. My cc's are the long game and I used to use the whatsthecost site but about three weeks ago I spent a whole 69p on an app which is great because it gives you a visual in the form of graphs and bar charts. I am a visual learner so I find it very helpful. Plus it has a lovely coloured bar that moves as you pay and shows the percentage.
OH and I had a lovely date night on Saturday which cost just over a hundred pound but we felt like we needed to celebrate and we haven't been out for months. So I am going to try and balance debt busting and living life with my favourite people.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳
😁Debt Free and you can do it too0 -
Grace is a right dare devil, so we talked about going to a theme park so she could go on the tiny rollercoaster, tea cups etc, but shes too small for absolutely everything even the kiddie rides. I understand and completely agree that they need to be safe but it's a shame she can't do anything but the train around the park.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
