Not quite the same as Disneyland, but places like Thomas Land and Peppa Pig (there are more but cant think off the top of my head) world I am fairly sure the only height restrictions for most of the rides are children under a certain height have to be accompanied.

Yep Peppa Pig world loads of rides for the shortys :-). Hoping to take Poppy soon although a long way from you guys.

We're planning a trip to PP World next summer, assuming Grace still loves Peppa. I hadn't heard of Thomas Land though.

I hate Ebay! I get emails saying 'this doesn't say it's dispatched yet, what are you playing at is something going on?' - is sold 9pm Friday, my listings state 3 working days and NIM is sending them today. ARGH! On the plus side I've made about £300 off it in the last 10 days towards the shortfall this month. I live in hope one month it won't be shortfall but actively going off the debt again.

Bump is doing well, although I did have a faint in Sainsbugs this morning, complete with first aiders and paramedics! Just had a check at the doctor and all fine now, must have had low blood sugar. Baby's heartbeat is lovely and strong too, that was mainly why I agreed to a check-up, so I could hear how baby's doing as I'm not feeling any movement yet.

As for Disney, we don't have any friends with kiddos yet so the only option is my brother... so that would turn into a big family thing as my parents would want to come. In 2 minds as although this would be fun, we all 'do' Orlando differently and we're not too keen to spend so much time waiting around for 5 other people all the time and doing what they want to do in exchange for not doing the things we love. Tough one. We've seen loads of people doing it alone and they all seem to survive it! On this holiday we felt like we were waiting around for our friends all the time (and it was just a pool/beach holiday!) and we agreed that we found it really annoying and wouldn't want to go away with other people for such a long time again.

Glad everything's OK after your scare ROTE, it definitely puts things into perspective!

I;ve had mixed experiences of going away with other groups of people. I think it depends on who you go with and if you both like to do things in similar ways.

Yeah, we knew they were a bit useless but never knew *how* useless until we were hanging around waiting for them all the time! We just like to make the most of our time and spend as much time as possible out and about but they would take about an hour between breakfast and coming down to the pool... how does it take an hour to suncream up and throw on swimwear?! Likewise, they'd go back to their room early every evening and *need* over 2 hours to get ready for the evening... we'd have time for a rest, a shower/bath, get ready at a leisurely pace and we'd still be waiting for them! We'll have to find people more like us to go away with in future! This is why we're wary about doing Disney with anyone else as we like to get to the parks for opening and do everything we want to do at our pace (I know this will be more difficult with a baby, but it's not impossible I'm sure) and hate hanging around not doing anything productive!
