When is the birthday party Flower? I've lost track a bit! Is he coming 2?

No not for a few months yet, but I just happened to mention to OH that I will be 8 months pregnant when he turns 2 so dont want to be chasing him around soft play areas :rotfl: which promptly set MIL off!

Hope all went well with Grace's appointment :)

Cinny your boss is really pants. Although it sounds like you're taking it in your stride.

Today I did a presentation, so that is the second of 7 deadlines done before mid-June. But those are the only two easy ones :rotfl:

Zig what amazing weekend plans - can I join? :D

Our weekend plans are a trip to IKEA and tile grouting! Tuesday we get the sockets changed and then we just have to figure out how to shorten the stainless steel pipe cover by 5mm () and we will have the kitchen done. :j

Your MIL sounds just lovely Star!

I can't believe how big Noah's getting Flower, he's cute a cute little man! :)

Well done on the presentation Lara! Enjoy Ikea too, I love going there! :)

Jeez, what a tool your boss in Cinny, you're well shot of that place! Like the fact that he's trying to start a dirty rumour about you though, way to act with dignity!

Enjoy your baking Zig! There's a lovely recipe for caramel swirl brownies on the Carnation website! _drool_

OH started painting the spare room yesterday so he's continuing the paint mission this morning and tomorrow whilst I go shopping with my Mum! :o I bought 3 cans of 3 different colours last night, one for the bedroom, one for the living room and a white the the celings and bathroom. We've got a super organised system of painting the hall with whatever colour is left! It could yet end up stripey with all 3 colours going on! :p

In not so fun news I feel grotty and seem to have picked up a new habit of waking up at 4.30 feeling hungry but not wanting to eat?? No idea how to fix this so I can get back to sleep! :o

Hope everyone has a good weekend planned! My OH has never had homemade chocolate brownies () so we are going to make some, drink gin and go on a bike ride to burn it off :)

I know I've said it a thousand times, but I love how loved up you sound when you talk about your OH (compared to when you spoke about you-know-who) :blushing:

I'm locked out because I forgot my password. It'll come back to me one day!

You always seem so crazy busy, Lara. I don't know how you do it! I'm basically *does a thing* *has a nap* *has a post-nap nap*

Liking the weekend plans. I'm working tomorrow at the second job (5 shifts to go!) but none of my buddies are in so I'm a little :( but I'm going to the cinema afterwards, so that will be nice :) and thanks, Lara. I'm really trying, though at the same time now the end is in sight I just don't want to be there anymore.

    Morning all, happy Friday.

Had a surprising phone call this morning off my mum, she was taken to A&E at 2am with huge pain in her abdomen, she's in the day assessment unit now, waiting to see if they admit her or not. They think possibly kidney stones but they need to do a scan. Wish I could go see her but she's only allowed dad on day assessment.

Grace's appointment went well, she isn't showing any signs of suffering from her lungs, but they're going to meet to discuss the genetic test as it hasn't been requested yet, and they're also going to discuss giving her the injections against colds for a second winter.

Ahh thank you, of course I am going to agree that he is my gorgeous little man :) (if not a little gobby at times :rotfl:). Doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago that he was born!

Dinah, hope your mum is ok! And good news about Graces lungs :)

Birdie - have you tried keeping some plain biscuits by your bed? When you wake up at silly o clock try having a little munch of them see if it helps at all. Hope it passes soon! I dont miss that feeling!

I'll give that a go Flower. :) We only have ginger biscuits in so I had one with a little milk at silly o'clock this morning but it didn't work, will get some digestives today. :)

Glad Grace's appointment went well! :T Hope your Mum's OK. :)

Only news off mum is they won't let her have a cup of tea until they decide she's definitely not on the urgent surgical list.

Just had a call off Grace's doc (not her usual one, he's on long term sick, I like this one better, he goes a bit further for his patients it seems) and she's definitely got the green light to be referred for genetic testing, which is great, might give some answers (the biggest fingers crossed ever she doesn't show up any positive markers for ACD) and we can start to move forward. The other thing is they want her to come back for a day or possibly overnight to do a co2 test, her oxygen saturation tests lately have always been good, but this will test something slightly different and give them a fuller picture. Again, fingers crossed shes normal for this.

Great news about the tests they're doing for Gracie, fingers crossed they don't pick up on anything bad, which I'm sure they won't. :)
