We go on holiday on the 31st August. Yippee!
I'll be going for the bikini option (since tankinis tend to ride up over my ginormous hips, not a good look! _pale_) but just didn't know what size I'd need... swimwear shopping is very stressful for me anyway, this is just going to make it worse! I have seen a super cute swimsuit I might treat myself to though!
Would it be really evil of me to leave OH painting all day on Saturday whilst I go off shopping?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I plan on seeing my (future!) pregnancy out in maxi dresses/my birthday suit. I'd just get lots of pretty maxi dresses, and that swimsuit (of course!) love the t-shirt Dinah posted, very you!
It's weird looking at the baby bump photos thinking "There's a Grace in there!"
Glad the scan went well for you Flower, hope the rest of your pregnancy goes without a hitch! I know it'll start to be an annoying question for you, but do you have any names picked out?Oh, and will you be finding out the sex of your baby before the birth, Birdie?
Got news today that my Cousin's OH is 12 weeks and 4 days pregnantSo happy for them, they suffered a miscarriage at the start of the year so it (selfishly) gives me hope. I'm going to be such a baby stealer!

You should be ok with a bikini, bump will be over the top anyway.
I love that swimsuit!
I am ready to kill OH with all this wedding stuff. I have told him he has till Friday to give me final numbers and he keeps coming up with extra people he has invited...0 -
Oh dear Wendz! This is why I hate delegating anything - SOO much easier to do things yourself most of the time!
Congrats to your cousin Cinny, how lovely
Just been looking at a Lovefilm offer on Groupon - £10 for 6 months unlimited streaming. Really fancy it to do some swotting up on my languages with some foreign films, but not sure what the streaming's actually like - has anyone tried it? We used to be on Virgin and streaming from 4OD etc was excellent but we switched to Sky and now it seems to buffer constantlyso not sure it's worth it...

I know. All my side is sorted just waiting on him and he is so laid back it maked me stressed out haha.
That is lovely about your cousin Cinny!
I have lovefilm and watch online and on the playstation on tv and is pretty good.0 -
I got a gorgeous swimsuit in Mamas and Papas and still wear it as it is really flattering on. Mind you I am a bit weird and wore a pair of Topshop maternity skinny jeans until they fell apart 2 months ago! So comfy!!! I didn't really show until about 20 weeks and even then never got really big.

I'm on the hunt for maxi dresses too, they're so freaking comfy! There are a lot about that I like right now but a fair few seem to have belted waists this year... I want a comfy empire line!
Not sure if we're going to find out the sex or not. We started off saying we'd like a surprise... but now I'm not so sure! Maybe we could find out and just not tell anyone else so it's still a surprise to friends and family?! I have a feeling it's a girl so would like to know or I'm worried I'll subconciously be buying more girly things than unisex and will have a shock when a boy comes out! MIL is doing my head in already by suggesting 'funny' names that OH would actually like (Luke, Leia, Padme, Indiana, Bruce etc) and I may have to tell her to !!!!!! soon! She's also said that she's retiring in February to spend more time with the baby... that's very nice that we'll get free childcare, but at what cost?!?!For some reason I just don't feel that comfortable about MIL spending too much unsupervised time with our LO. She's nice enough and it's not a safety issue... I just think there's something dark and devious beneath the surface. It came out around my wedding and she upset my Mum a bit (who never lets people get to her so that's saying something!) and I guess I'm a little concerned that she's going to try to make herself #1 in baby's life, especially at the detriment of my parent's relationship with him/her. Wouldn't put it past her. She's already make 'jokes' about taking baby home and not giving them back... she's only half joking, believe me! Sorry, that turned a bit ranty but she's very difficult to figure out!
How annoying about your OH Wendz! Hope you get things sorted soon, i.e. this week! Give him a slap with a wet fish from me if he doesn't give you final numbers!
Will you be buying more maternity jeans CMD?! Surely there's no real limit on how old your baby is when you have to stop wearing them?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
What's wrong with Luke?! I vaguely know someone who called their baby Indiarna - with an 'r' in it so people know to pronounce it Indiana and not Indi-anna I guess. It always comes out as Inidaaaarrrna. Like my cousin who announced "Baby Niamh (Neave)" last year... Like, if you have to explain the pronunciation, perhaps you should call it something else?!
I had your MIL down as meek and mild Birdie! Does she not have any other grandkids to be possessive of?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I said we didn't want to know on the gender, but NIM did, and he convinced me, and I'm really glad he did as all the gender neutral clothing we bought never got worn, I wanted everyone to know she was a girl - the woman in Tesco who asked 'what is IT?' when she had a pink babygrow on with a flowery hat nearly got punched!
