Sorry haven't managed to get on here at all until now!
Dinah - I think your plans and priorities sound great and how brave and inspirational of you to share them with usI could probably do with sitting down with OH and doing a list of priorities for us too.
All I remember about the first 17 weeks with Max is lying on the bed feeling rough every day. I couldn't even look at red peppers, hummous or breakfast mushrooms. The weather was very hot in Brighton and I just felt c*ap all day long. I don't remember feeling tired. With Evie I was very tired for the first trimester, but it also coincided with Max deciding not to sleep for about 4-5 months and then waking at 6am every morning!

I hope the extra work doesn't take too long Star! I love a good alcove though, hopefully it'll look lovely once all finished! Although you may have to extend to Just Finish it July!
Have you got your job sorted out now Beccie?
Kind of! Can't say too much about the details on here due to who I work for but I do have a job to go to. It's just all a bit complicated - my old office closed, so my job transferred to another area and that is who I will technically be working for. However, another area needs 'emergency cover' so I will be working for them till I leave, just sitting in totally the wrong office! Plus, the new job hadn't been told that I would be leaving at the end of the year. It sounds like a busy and interesting job so I'm happy with that. Just have to work away a lot which is a pain when I need my evenings now to plan travelling and eBay all my possessions ready for the end of the year!

Well that's good that you've still got a steady income, even though the travelling isn't ideal! Where are you heading next?!
CMD, luckily I feel pretty well other than the tiredness. Just hope I don't get morning sickness as I'm the worst sick person ever (can count on one hand how many times I've been sick in the last 10 years!). Really not impressed with how long people are saying these sucky symptoms lasted though... going on holiday when I'm 17ish weeks and was hoping I'd have been feeling a-ok for a while by then!
Oh and I've got no idea what kind of clothes to buy for my holiday... how fat will I be?! What do I do about swimwear?! Gah!!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
We're heading to South America and SE Asia in Jan 2014 for a year of wandering about. Thank you redundancy money
I've been trying to convince OH to cycle from here to Australia (I've seen an amazing looking route) but he's not having it, he's convinced we'll die! :rotfl:Then Jan/Feb 2015 we should hopefully be heading to Namibia to work for 6 months - longer if we enjoy it - as I managed to make work arrangements whilst on this last trip.
Can't wait to get started!
Hope you feel better for your holiday. No idea about swimwear though, I'm very uneducated in all things pregnancy and children related!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
I had a pretty good time of being pregnant i felt sick in the morning for about 10 mins but soon passed. That stoped around 14 weeks i think.0

I can help with this! I took photos every other week of my pregnancy so here's a bit of a bump progression for you:
5 weeks
13 weeks (yes, I'm sticking it out a bit but I felt so big!)
17 weeks
21 weeks
24 weeks (First time I genuinely think I was even starting to show and not just look a bit cuddly)
26 weeks
27+3, the day before I went into hospital and the last bump photo unless I scare you with the ones taken on the day I had her where I'm carrying so much fluid I look about 25 stone. (nb, if your face swells like this pic it's fluid retention, don't cry because you got fat!)
Personally I could wear normal everything all the way through my pregnancy, I just wore a size bigger. The only thing I had to get in pregnancy sizes were trousers and skirts so I had the little elasticated panel on them. I've a friend at work who is 24 weeks now and if she hadn't told us she was pregnant (and hadn't been throwing up every which way) we'd never be able to tell yet as she's a bit curvier than me (read has boobs that make dolly parton jelous). I think in your case your boobs might give you away a lot sooner than the tummy!
Swimwear, just get a size bigger than usual for that stage, or if you think you'll swim later during your pregnancy mothercare do swimsuits or I got mine from topshops maternity range as it was a lovely vintage style one.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We're both delightedto be honest I hadn't even given any thought to the sex of baby was just so anxious for everything to be ok, then she suddenly asked if we wanted to know.
Was so nice to see the scan report with everything listed as 'normal'.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
