Aw birdie im sure you will be fine. Think id be exactly the same though, youll get into a routine in no time and I hear babies are hard to break...

I quite fancy having a baby just so I can watch loads of boxsets during feeds. They seem a good reason to sit and eat biscuits. Bet all you parents are going to tell me this dream is totally unrealistic now :(

When Poppy was tiny I used to spend most the day lying on the sofa feeding her and her sleeping on me as she hated sleeping in her moses basket. Its when they can move you are in trouble. The next baby wouldn't have such a luxury as won't be able to lie around with Poppy as well...

I really can't weigh in on the baby topics but I'm sure you'll be fine birdie and it might be easier to get into a routine when there's just the two of you! As the girls above have shown though, I'm sure if you have any worries or questions all of the experienced mummies on here will be able to help you!

TGIF today :) I felt like it was Friday all day yesterday when it clearly wasn't oops! But it is today and I'm looking forward to the weekend wool woop! Does anyone have nice plans? Felt like I've had a good week money wise (but Monday to Thursday is always cheaper thank fri sat sun!) I cooked at home and oh and I have taken lunches to work most days.. I have about 5 sets of train tickets to buy though this weekend but I have some red spotted hanky vouchers from tesco ccard so hopefully that will bring the cost down a little...

Cinny how's the house now? Are you fully settled in? How's Ryder like it?

Dinah your holidays sound amazing and just what you need to top up hour vitamin d! Your parents sound so lovely :) how is Grace doing? I can't believe how fat time is going that baby two is on the way! As if it is March already!!!!!!!

It's almost done! We still have the guttering to fix in the spring, and outside jobs like wall building (fuuun!) but inside is basically done. We just have a little bit of painting to do, but we only finished the plastering on Tuesday so we're waiting for it all to dry out. But it's home! And Ryder loves his little room, at about 8:30 every night his little head pops up from the kitchen over the gate and he stares at his room until we let him in. So cute :D

Can't believe it's March either!! Hope your tickets don't cost too much, OH has had to book a few recently and it's just insane. I'm still smug over my £5 London ticket for next weekend ;)

No plans here! We're finally going food shopping tomorrow, have a 10% discount for Morrisons on my card so any excuse :) Trying to convince OH we should go to Crufts on Sunday, but it's not working. Was watching it last night and I think Ryder would be excellent at flyball. But we'd have to be a solo team because he wouldn't let any other dogs get the ball :o

How's it all going, Birdie? :)

Zach's Supernatural education will begin next week once OH's back at work. Totally dreading it but hoping it'll be OK, guess I need to get a routine sorted so I don't just sit there looking at him thinking 'Argh, what the heck do I do?!' :o

Birdie I was afraid of being on my own for the first time when I had DD. I cried to my mum about it and she promised she would make the 4 hour trip up on the Monday to us to spend a couple of days with me and the baby to help me adjust. Turns out DH had to work the weekend at short notice anyway as they were desperate, so I had the weekend on my own with the baby before my mum came up on the Monday to help! Even though I felt  it actually wasn't that bad. The thought of it was worse than actually doing it.

She had a little girl and was less than 3 hrs in Labour. Her first was a section so she is delighted that she can drive as no public transport where she is.
