I'm going to say 24th, very strong feelings thats a baby news day.

I may have had insider information to make me think that was a baby news day, but in deference to little Zach's birthday actually falling that day we've held off saying anything, but...

It turns out when I was in hospital in all that pain before Christmas that was probably implantation day, because of the pain and the worry of that meaning an ectopic I had a scan at 5+5 when we saw one little baby in the right place, so all safe and well. At my scan on Monday they moved me on from 12+5 where I thought I was to 13+4, we're quite sceptical of this date as that would mean I conceived on day 8 of my cycle which seems unlikely (although would explain how this happened!). This one was a big shock to us, as we weren't planning on trying for another year or so, and it took some getting used to as I'm really scared of another preemie. But we're doing everything we can to get as far as possible, diet is closely monitored, lots of specific vitamins, I'm going to acupuncture twice a week, my vitamin D has been checked as the leading cause of pre-e and it was way down, even after 6 months of vitamins it was still at 17 when it should be 70 so we're going for a sun holiday too mostly funded by my very generous parents and FIL... despite all these steps there is still a 50-50 chance of the baby coming before 30 weeks but at least I'm doing everything I can. So far it's going a bit smoother, blood pressure is very steady and medication hasn't had to be increased yet, so long may it continue. Scared of having two so close together but on the other hand hopefully they'll be best friends. I've been less sick and less tired this time, and in contrast to Grace who kept booting the probe at her scan this one just lay there upside down like a little puddin', so I'm guessing it's a boy due to the complete inertia :D

Is that what that penguin photo on Facebook was about, Dinah?! I'm so excited for you !! Looks like another baby shower will be on the cards ;) hope everything goes well! And where are you headed for this holiday?!

Sorry you had a rough night, Birdie :( Your OH is a total star looking after you two so well. I don't know how either of you are doing it, I'd just be holding him by a foot asking which way is up ;) I know I'm not a mum so can't really help but I'm only a text away if you need anything!

Has everyone had a nice weekend? OH and I locked ourselves in with ice cream and THE WALKING DEAD. As ever, we start a series years late. There are just no likeable characters, I hate everyone bar Daryl. OH is off to Scotland tomorrow so I get to drop him off at the train station and pop into town to do some shopping. Booked the day off and told people to leave me alone so I get 36 hours alllll to myself!!

Wow congratulations Dinah and NIM! Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly and I'm sure Grace will love being a big sister.

Glad to hear OH is being so helpful Birdie and that you're feeling a bit better about everything.

I'd love 36 hours to myself Cinny! Enjoy every moment of it.

Nothing much happening around here. Last week of work before I start my new job and I'm a bit nervous. Seriously think I might be doing the wrong thing but we'll just have to wait and see. It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and I think OH is taking me away for the weekend. It's his 30th this year and I'm taking him to Berlin, so as long as he hasn't had the same idea, it's all good!

Congratulations Dinah ! That is so exciting! Really Hope that things go a bit smoother this time for you but each step at a time...

Birdie - Hope you had a better day today. I cried nearly every day for first few weeks. Hormones and tiredness does that so don't worry. Is good people are keeping an eye on you in case anything does get worse though.

Had a nice weekend here. Went for dinner at one of my Mum friends on Friday with another friend. Then yesterday to today Poppy and I went to stay at my sisters in London and my Mum came up today too which was good.

    Enjoy the peace Cinny!

Good luck with the new job Ruby!

Birdie - sounds like you are doing a wonderful job. Just try to accept the emotions as you have them. If you need to cry, have a cry. I remember my emotions being so up and down with both children. And don't beat yourself up over BF. I firmly believe happy baby = happy Mammy xxx

Aw - congrats Dinah and NIM. Wonderful news! Where are ye off to on hols? We went to Portugal with Max before Evie came aong and it was so nice and relaxing!

Cinny - enjoy the peace and quiet!

Ruby - a weekend away sounds like bliss. Bet you are excited to find out where it is!

Congratulations Dinah, NIM and Gracie! Wonderful news! :j Glad things are going well so far, long may it continue! :T Hurrah for a sun holiday too! Make sure it's somewhere very relaxing but not *too* hot. I was totally worn out on my holiday and could barely even drag myself for a walk along the beach some days because it was so hot!

Had a good day yesterday, Zach must have worn himself out on Saturday as he slept like a log most of the day, just waking up to get off his face on milk then nodding straight off again! Such a little cutie, everyone loves him to bits. :)

Hope you do get a weekend away Ruby. :)

Enjoy all that time to yourself Cinny! I'm on series 3 of the Walking Dead and agree that whilst it is good and watchable, the characters aren't very likeable! Suppose it makes it easier when they get munched by walkers though! ;)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
