Such brill news, Dinah and NIM
congratulations! And all good wishes for a happy and healthy rest of pregnancy. Holidays and no work stress sound like a very good idea to me!
Glad all is going well with baby Birdie! You're doing amazingly well - it's hard to believe it's only been a matter of daysLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hope you manage to persuade NIM! We went and had a private gender scan with Poppy as they wouldn't tell you the gender in our hospital but they will next time.
We had parents evening at nursery yesterday and went really well. She is doing all she should be for her age and they said she is one the well behaved children so proud mummy here! She will be going up to the pre school room after her birthday and then that is the last room till school eek!0 -
I had a gender scan as well although 2 weeks later they told me at the hospital. But I had to know what she was!0

Dinah – WOW, I have just caught up on months worth of news; and what HUGE news, jobs, redundancies and babies. I have to say, as soon as I read the news about you being made redundant I thought ‘good’! I know that sounds bonkers, but if you read back through your posts over the years you have obviously been very unhappy there for a long time. Within days of you posting about being made redundant it was apparent that your ‘mood’ had lifted. I am not for one minute suggesting that it is going to be easy, but I think it might be the push that you have needed for a long time. It is so easy to stay in a job that doesn’t fulfil you, due to the fact it is regular and half decent pay, however family/health needs to come first. My Mum often used to say she wished that she had listened to people when they told her that she ‘would never get her children’s young years back’. She thinks she missed out on a lot of our upbringing by working all the hours god sent to enable the purchase of a large house etc.
Wishing you all the very best with your new venture, enjoy your time being a Mum.

Oooh that hotel looks lovely! Enjoy! Glad you've got some other lovely breaks planned too.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Enjoy all that time to yourself Cinny! I'm on series 3 of the Walking Dead and agree that whilst it is good and watchable, the characters aren't very likeable! Suppose it makes it easier when they get munched by walkers though!
We watched the second to last episode last night and I was in BITSOH said I had my "sad Supernatural face" on. Hope you're educating Zach in the ways of the Winchesters
That place looks lovely Dinah, just what you need! We're just looking at cute cottages in St Ives this year, visit some friends and go paddling0 -
Oooh yeah, that was quite the shocker!
Zach's Supernatural education will begin next week once OH's back at work. Totally dreading it but hoping it'll be OK, guess I need to get a routine sorted so I don't just sit there looking at him thinking 'Argh, what the heck do I do?!'Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I bawled the day OH went back to work after I had Max. I was so terrified of this little baby. You do get into a better routine once you are on your own though.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
