When grace had a cold as a baby I would turn the shower to scalding, close the bathroom door, then after five or ten minutes to and sit in there with her just in a vest, her nose would stream but it seemed to give a little relief. The nurses also recommend those bulbs for suckling the goop out their nose but I didn't try that one x

I had a look for one of those goop suckers but couldn't find one. Got him some saline drops for his little nose, seems to have given him a little relief, been asleep since 2 and isn't snorting as much. :)

Received a lovely parcel from Shrimpy today, thank you! A lovely crinkly Peter Rabbit book and chocolate- OH asked if I've been moaning about wanting choccy but I explained that everyone just knows me now! ;)

Can you pm your address please Birdie, unfortunately wrapped the pressies for the little man but distracted have time to do the sending before our holiday. Mum booked lake como today too so will only be back on dreary Teesside for a fortnight before we're off again.

We have a nasal aspirator, it's a lifesaver. Also get a humidifier, it helps overnight.

Hope little Zach is feeling better Birdie. I found that both of mine were full of mucus for the first few weeks and a bit sniffly anyway. The ladies have already given great advice. Just keep an eye on his temperature. Hopefully it wasn't/isn't up anyway.

Lake Como sounds lovely Dinah. Very relaxing.

What is the situation with your job now? Have you officially been made redundant or are you still on sick leave? How are the debt repayments going? And how is the business? Has it launched yet?

Hope Zach is feeling better, is horrible when you can't help them.

Hope we all had lovely weekends. Weather was lovely here. Had a busy weekend with Poppy going to two birthday parties!

Hope Zach is a little better, poor bear! Must be horrible seeing them all uncomfortable.

Had to giggle at the chocolate! :D If you're sending a present parcel chocolate is just standard.. right?!

Poppy has a better social life than me! We had a lovely weekend, nice and quiet but we were out for the day on Saturday to spend a little birthday money and do the first big shop in forever, then yesterday we took Ryder out for a long walk and swim. Was just nice to have clothes on the line and windows open! Just as nice today too, can't wait to finish work. Popped washing out before we left for work, chatting over the fence with the guy who lives next door and it's like we're proper adults now. No idea how that happened.
