And they will be told back, that for the safety of their children, then the loving parents should have coughed up, to ensure that their children are safe.0

Just pointing out that Jet2 appear to have it covered by their T&Cs, whether or not you think that.
It wouldn't bother me moving TBH, any of the seats I'm likely to be in are much of a muchness0 -

OP - please let us know how you got on.0 -
Can I ask a question of the militant 'I wouldn't move for a child whose parents are to tight to pay' brigade who are booked on a Jet2 flight: When you went online to book your seats had Jet2 deliberately split you and your travelling companion forcing you to pay to sit together even though there were plenty of seats available for you to sit together? If they did, were you not a little peeved that they had done so? And can you really not see what is so wrong with this?
I would have been peeved, regardless of whether or not I was travelling with children. Not even Ryanair stoop this low.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
We fly Jet2 reasonably regularly are are yet to be split up when checking in online, I do tend to do it as soon as check-in opens though0

Not sitting next to Mrs Bob the saver can be a bonus. We're normally together 28 hours a day and a short break is not the end of the world. :j0 -
This has happened to me on many occasions I wouldn't worry ! don't pay I never have. When we get to the flight we are always put adult with child the cabin crew would not do this either. So don't worry about it, I have flew with jet 2 and Ryanair and they have done this every time.0
