Did you read he post? They are in 1 set of 2 seats and then 2 single seats.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
Does depend of course which seats, I'm sure they crew will find somewhere suitable.

But it's all been sorted. All it took was a phone calltravelover0

But seriously: if airlines really have to dream up ways to make us pay more, why don't they simply put up prices? At least it's straightforward.
If they cannot survive charging us 50 quid per person, per flight, then just charge 65 and forget about charging extra for the blooming seats!!!
I'll start by saying that I'm surprised at the poor seat allocation but glad you got it sorted.
I strongly disagree with your startement above.
In my flight price (£50 in your example) I get a seat included.
OK, it might not be next to my OH and it might not be where I'd choose to sit.
But, it is a seat and I'll be satisfied with it because I've paid £50 and got what I paid for.
So why should I have to pay £65 (in your example) for my flight?
Airlines make money with extras because people either want to or feel they need to pay for them.
Not everyone is the same and so they shouldn't be punished financially for those people who do want to or need to pay.0 -
We recently flew with Thomas Cook to Dalaman Turkey. When I checked in online a couple of weeks before we were given the option to pre book seats at £7,50 each. We didn't bother and got the extra leg room both ways:)0

I think they could make more money allowing people to book away from noisy smelly seat-kicking chav children - of any age.0

I never bother paying for seats on airlines that do that sort of thing.
But we do sometimes travel with a couple that do, one of them needs to get up and stretch every half hour or so or they're in great pain.
What they do is book and pay for adjacent aisle seats.
It's fair to say that's she's disabled and needs to be able to move around, what she does is to get on with her own life and rather than ask for any sort of special treatment, simply pays to sit somewhere that helps her.
I'm not sure it's fair to ask her to move and for her to have to explain why she'd rather not.
Not everyone sitting in paid for seats are there because they just fancy sitting there.0
