    Evening all

I haven't had a SFD today but only minimul spends. We went to the play barn with my sister this afternoon so £4 entry and £2.65 on snacks. Should have a SFD tomorrow and Sunday as I've already booked and paid for our £1 cinema tickets :T and then we are going to a free concert in our local park so just need to take a picnic and chairs :j

Yesterday I spent a bit more money than planned and am now really tight in all budgets. Yesterdays spends were £15 for a huge box of nappies (196) and £11 on printer ink & paper. I used £6 worth of vouchers I had so I got the food I needed for free. I will update my sig once my brain decides to work, it's been so humid again that it won't work properly. I broke a glass and chucked an open can of beans on the floor today.

NSK tonight's dinner was 5 bean burgers and rice salad so not a completely strange meal but totally out of what was in the pantry as we were supposed to have spaghetti carbonara. DH decided it was too hot for that though.

Siouxsie I'm hoping the think positive club. I wanna find money!!!!! SFD today.. Made sugar-free apple sauce and sultana muffins last night. Sorry pictures later.. Few pennies of food budget left but the post office run, naught bottles of Pepsi max and stupid coco powder threw me right off sync.. Gonna re-jiggle tomorrow. LLL'S is away for a week now so I'm gonna chill! Might have to resort to Mummy's donated tenner..

Oh and the Mog got hold of my new headphones. Third time lucky eh??..

Saturday is shopping day and I'm quite impressed with myself for once.

£14 spent at the market (butchers, cheese and bread)
£39 in Mr A's including wine and a week's worth of cat food for 5 kitties.

I've gone over my monthly budget for food but still have some left over in the fun budget and shouldn't need to buy much more this month.

Vet's bill for Harley's vaccination was £65...think I'll definitely let dad pay if he volunteers again. Used my CC to pay for it. Also bought a spa voucher for me n a friend to use in August which I put on the CC.

Hi all, another SFD for me, DD3 and DGD came for a visit and we had lunch out of tins and cupboards. Made some scones this morning and cooked them in the halogen, first time I have done this and they turned out fine:)

After DD3 had gone I walked my doggie visitor and I must say I am really enjoying it, Im going where I wouldn't go if I was on my own but its OK if you have a dog with you for protection:rotfl:(well that's how I feel anyway)

Anyway back at work tomorrow for a couple of days, so off to make my breakfast/lunch - the canteen at work has now shut so I cant buy any food even if I wanted to so I have started making pasta salads etc to take.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and the weather improves a bit, having said that its sunny here a the moment but it has been raining nearly all day

HappyBeingMe - I thought you had had enough of me... glad you are around so please check in and say HELLLOOO now and then..

Lol ~ thanks and no you definitely haven't got rid of me yet!

Truth is it's the big 4-0 for me in a few days. I don't want to spend my forties the way I've spent my twenties and thirties (it's very scary when I realise how long I've been living like this!). I've been in debt pretty much constantly (between £2000-£5000) but every time I've got a loan and cleared the debt I've run it up again just as quick.

I want to be in control of my life and my money, I want to be organised in everything.................basically I want a brand new me! I need help!

I've also been offered an amazing trip next year which I really, really want to go on ~ all I have to bring is spending money so I need to save a lot between now and August next year.

Looking forward to the new challenge!! :D

    Good Day to you chickadees!

I was sat in the garden and just went inside for a drink and hey presto on comes the torrential downfall!...WHERE is summer?

So how are we all? I had an SFD yesterday and ate a lot of naughty food (crisps / jam tarts / pizza and potatoe wedges.. oh dear!! This is not in the grand scheme of eating healthy! Bad NSK! So I made a super duper green smoothy...I am trying...lol!

So we have precisely 7 days left of the month. I have £217 on my CC...(flight home / TKMaxx / Superdrug and Holland and Barett purchases)..this is not good! These are naughty unnecessary purchases (except the flight).. So it is all being paid for next month ( the perils of expecting overtime money ) and I was making very bad choices in the face of that.... Which means that there is less to pay towards the debt!

I must admit I needed moisturiser and a few things so it should have been budgeted for! H&B will last three months at least...(peanut butter and dandelion coffee - as you do ) and I feel BAD!!!!

SO moving on.... day one in the house on my own and I shall have to walk the pooch shortly! What a commitment. Not sure how you dog owners do it with more than one doggy....

£12 left in my account....£10 on food this week ( mother's donation ) and nowt much else planned...

So hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend and looking forward to the epic end of month count down...

Now then - what are we gonna do for July?

ooo July! fingers crossed i'll be better in next month than this!

Food shop completed yesterday £20.71 - 71p over budget damn! We did buy lots of yellow sticker healthy items though. Annoyingly when we got home, DH annouced he had some tesc0 vouchers which he'd forgot to tell me about, so the overspend could have been avoided. Oh well, we can use the vouchers next week i suppose.

  • Now then - what are we gonna do for July?

I vote we attempt to have as many Free (or less than a £5?) days out as we can. It is actually summer now regardless of the weather.

Amongst the normal eating chickpeas, lentils and knitting clothes out of pasta. ;)

Also if we do eat out vouchers must be used :)

I am going to try and keep the weekly shop under 20 quid.

Buffy - I like the £5 or less (ideally free) days out idea!

NSK - I have a lovely diary by Rachel Bright. It has monthly mantras and picks random days for you to do something new. Oooo tomorrows is: 'Smile and wink at a random person day.' Teehee

It has monthly feel-good mantras so I shall share July's for some inspiration:

'July, I am ready for whatever you throw at me. In fact I'm going to throw a few things at you.

I'm going to learn to love mornings* (*even more than I do now) and walk a different way than I usually do.

I'm going to mix things up* (*metaphorically and in the eye-wateringly alcoholic cocktail senses) and not accept the status quo. And whilst I might not do something that scares me EVERYDAY, I will certainly do something that makes the little hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Yes, I will attempt the impossible and I will endeavor to do it all before breakfast* (*it's ok to have breakfast at 10pm)...

Watch out July. month of new-ness Wow.'

Haha :T Ok, so from that I think the message is vaguely along the lines of trying something new, that sits beyond your comfort zone. Walk a different way - either geographically or stylistically- I guess that one is up to you (and enjoying mornings) :)
