Oooooh helloooo everyone! I am a sailing through the day! Tired but when am I not. Can you believe I was in bed at 2130 last night. My age is creeping up on me! Lol! See everyone is budget friendly today..

I am going to hit the baking again tonight for a visit to a girlfriends house tomorrow as is the norm for my Saturdays! We shall nom, chat and nom some more!

SFD yesterday and today... food budget needs a revamp and I feel I might have to use my Mummy's kindly donated £10 in order to survive but we shall see. I might even be able to scrape something out of whats left in my cupboards!!!

Will be checking in later with a possible cupcake picture - Whoop!!

    Hi all

Kat - we need cupcake pictures!!!

Wanabee - yes I understand how it is. I remember finishing my day at work tired and grumpy, picking up the kids who were also tired and grumpy then coming home to a million and one things that needed doing. Trying to cook tea, tidy up, load the washing machine and stop the kids battering each other with plastic swords all at the same time. Then hubby would roll in from work at 7pm when the kids had been fed and relative calm was restored. He hadnt a clue! It does get easier as they get older - then you get difficult homework and ferrying them to friends and sports! My advice is to just try and make a bit of time for yourself, even for five minutes if you can.

Well everything seems to be OK budget wise this month. I am worried about my job though. I work flexible hours and its really really quiet so have hardly done anything this month. Nice to have some time off but no work = no wages. I am thinking about whether I should look for something else but thats quite a scary prospect!

Well, off to get the hoover out. Have a good Friday afternoon everyone.

Hi everyone, just waiting for my dinner to cook

SFD for me, I have enough food in to last but its the special bits - you know- biscs etc the nice unhealthy bits that I haven't any of:( It doesn't mean I lose weight though as I haave been eating through my stash of rice pudding, popcorn and reduced goodies from the freezer:rotfl:

I here just had some pain killers for a humungous headache, don't get them very often, and it could have something to do with the lack of sleep last night, it was so hot and sticky, anyway not at work tomorrow, I have the day off as I was supposed to be having DGD all day, but then her granddad decided to have her for the full weekend, hence I just have the dog, whom I will be walking after I have eaten

Hope everyone has had a good day, and enjoy the weekend

    Hi,

A quick update from me as tonight will be shift 2 of 5. Although I obviously need the money I can't believe I picked up 6 shifts, followed by 5, how did I miss that configuration of exhaustion!

Tuesday was a SFD, so was yesterday, but Wednesday and today weren't so I think I am up to 15 but will double check and update my signature when my brain wakes up (sometime next week).

I now have £4.40 of my budget left. Pay day is next Friday.

Silly and ungrateful woman is now on annual leave and won't be doing any night shifts for almost 3 weeks :j I am so happy and relieved, it's hard work actively disliking someone even when they make it childishly easy, so I get a break for a bit.

    Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Hope you've all had a good week thus far!

7 more days until payday for me....however, I'm on budget :T 13/20 SFDs so really have to knuckle down and make sure that I only have 2 more SFDs out of the next 9 days to make my 20 for the month target. Lots of planning ahoy!

NSK -How on earth did you pull off juggling all of those boxes on the tube?! I LOVE CUPCAKES, I am just absolutely terrible at baking otherwise I would live off of them *Nom* I had a random craving for banana biscuits last week, I made them, they were disgusting, I still ate them all though- can't be wasting!

My housemate has given me loads of different moisturisers. She has quite sensitive skin so has tested them and they haven't been a good match to her skin. So no moisturiser shopping for me for a while! :) Plus I can't say no to a freebie...

Have acquired 100 Mr S Nectar p's fairly quickly this eve by watching some ads. Another £1 to add to my points! I couldn't get the hang of the survey sites (I think I'm just a little impatient), but I do enjoy watching my points go up at Mr s. I think I will save the points for Christmas, may be...

Family party tomorrow- I'm driving (as usual) so no alcopops for me= no hangover and no money spent! ;)

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend whatever you have planned!

    Afternoon everyone :)

I agree Kat, cupcake pictures required. I'm on a 500 calorie day today (following the 5:2 diet for few weeks) so I can't eat them but Ill get a lot of pleasure from looking at them :)

Today was a spend day. Need new passport photos and I went to Sainsburys to spend my wombled £1.85 voucher and top up my fridge, hopefully for the last time this month. I scoured the floor for coins and unused vouchers and thought I was losing my touch as there was nothing to be found. As I wasn't in a hurry, I picked up a last minute Field Agent job worth £5 which was only 2 streets away. As I was waiting to cross the road what did I see? A scrunched up note. Now, I can spot money at a thousand paces and this wasn't a blue one. Woo hoo, a tenner!!! There was no-one else around so I picked it up and realised it was two tenners :j:j A quick detour via the bank and my little Field Agent job had been approved by the time I got back in the car :) I've never read The Secret, but my friend tells me that I'm a living breathing version of it. I believe I'll find money and I do. I'm seriously lucky that way. Poor person that dropped it...don't suppose feeding my debt busting addiction will be much comfort to them.

So, I used it to reduce my Opus Mastercard to below £3000 - my first overpayment I've managed all month :A

So, on to my spends. I paid £11.94 in the supermarket, £5.00 on passport photos and £2.00 on lipbalm (my current one is completely done!). My budgets for the month are.....
    SFD: No idea, sorry
    Food: £41.06/£50
    Petrol: £50/£50
    Misc: £38.28/£100
