Ah never realised about the OP allowing his kids family home be repossessed. No fraud now then if she is legally married to new husband I think possibly sour grapes from OP now his kids have a new stepfather!?

Best you get used to the new family unit having regular holidays unless of course you intend to stop them, I would imagine ex gave you details but didn't want to rub your face in it "oh and we're also going to Vegas to get married", bet the kids have had a great time regardless and as long as they are happy with your ex's new husband then that is all you should be concerned about, oh and also the fact I assume you pay less money now since someone else has pointed out annoyed you before!

I can't understand why OP's Ex would go through such lenghts as to dig out flight details and Hotel details just to tell a lie to OP. Would she really do that?

I assumed that the OP was so controlling that he wouln't have given permission without this information.

Well that's the whole point, according to the OP they aren't at Disney! I know a couple who went to Vegas to get married and they went for a long 4 day weekend, so if the wedding was planned, planning to be in Vegas for 5 days seems very possible to me. There has been nothing from the OP to suggest they are going to Disney, its just assumptions being made.

its different assumptions being made by everyone, including the OP up until the point he left the discussion last night.
According to the OP they aren't at Disney right now. You read "she is there for 5 days so can't see Orlando being done" as "they are in the US for 5 days total". I read that same phrase as "they are in Vegas for 5 days but are in the US for longer". As no-one asked the OP this question, its all supposition.

And I am sorry, I would never go to Disney for just 5 days, by the time you have got there, caught up on Jet lag etc it is time to go back home. 5 days seems a bit too short.

Oh my goodness, this post just proves that everyone is different - I couldn't contemplate going to Disney for as LONG as 5 days! The one time I have been to Florida (I don't intend to go back...) we did one day in one of the parks and that was plenty. We spent the rest of the time trying to find other things to do. Do people seriously spend 5 days in a row in theme parks? That is why I was thinking it is much more likely the ex wife is doing a couple of days in Vegas and a couple of days in Florida, thus having only half lied about their whereabouts...who knows.

If they were in the USA for longer than the stated 5 days, why did the OP say he can't see 'Orlando being done?' It just doesn't make any sense to me! If they were there 2 weeks for example, surely he would say, going on to Orlando is a possibility?

I know the OP said if the ex had been upfront about going to Vegas to get married, he would have been fine with it, but honestly nobody including the OP knows that how he would have felt about it if he knew in advance.

You never know how you'll deal with or feel about something until it actually happens, he could have very well been fine and dandy about it but there's always the other side of the coin that he wouldn't be ok with it.

I know we only know one side of this story (same with any thread though), but I dislike the many assumptions being made that she is whiter than white and he is the controlling, bitter ex husband. I wonder if most of the posts on here making these assumptions are women?

It's not just you lol, five whole days at Disney would be a nightmare for me. One day is fine with four days of doing other things, five days is just :rotfl:

I hope the OP comes back to let us know the outcome.
