Only thing I've decluttered today is a bowl of green stuff (freezer surprise) - I think it was soup and a bowl of ice cream. Other than taking the kids into town at 1pm, I haven't left this bed since this time last night. Hoping to rejoin you all tomorrow, all being well.
Congrats to Mr and Mrs LW
TMD xxDecluttering junk and debt in 2016
Debts - Vanquis £3500 1/1/16; DFD - when I'm dead with £100,000,000+ interest  UPDATED Feb 2016 £2739.80; DFD June 2016 :j
Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 20160 -
Did a couple more jobs tonight as I was waiting for DD to get in. But she's home, unpacked and in bed ready for a "school" day tomorrow. She only has 2 subjects of homework apart from revision so I've said treat tomorrow as if she's in school but she can have the time she'd usually travel as free time and that should mean all her homework can be completed tomorrow
Then she can do the revision games when we get the password reset for her to log into school! Silly child has forgotten her password :wall:
Tomorrow I have to phone the CSA and cancel the account with them. Lets see how long this takes to sort out! I'm hoping its as simple as just telling them over the phone that Ex and I have sorted it out between us. Means now I get paid within 2 hours of the money leaving his account (just a day or so after he's paid in case there's a delay in his wages going in) instead of 2-4 WEEKS if I'm lucky through the payroll department via the CSA to my account! It'll make budgeting a hell of a lot easier
I'm making DD sticky-note to-do lists (based on the ones here) with just 3 chores to do each day (mainly stuff she should be doing anyway but she never seems to do...) in addition to making her bed and putting laundry in the wash/away as appropriate.
So Tuesday looks like this:
General:
Phone CSA
Deal with Mr A delivery (1-3pm, cheapest slot)
Start shopping/to-do list for errand days
HHStudy
HHProject
Update finances
Meal plan for week
Start next Mr A delivery list (packed lunch supplies)
Kitchen
Wipe ALL large appliances and units and kickboards
Wipe and replace all small appliances
Demould ceiling
Wash down walls (really noticeable dust layer appeared!)
Clean door seals & drawers/filters
Clean light
Wash window outside if dry.
Twinkling Tuesday ~ Living room, hall and stairs!
Only got 15 minutes
Declutter and vacuum!
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself!
30 minutes to spare

Got an hour!
Wash any soft furnishings that need doing - saturday job while DD is out.
[STRIKE]Vacuum right the way up the stairs![/STRIKE] Sweep stairs

- Wipe switches
- HH Paperwork - laminating stuff (No cold callers sign for door & DD's chalk art work to stop them being ruined)
- HH Shredding (if the shredder lasts that long...)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Don't think I have actually flown since I posted earlier; friend and her husband came round thith a chrysanthemum (in a pot) for me, a 'thinking of you' card and some HM (from the market) strawberry and rhubarb jam! She did say it was like taking coals to Newcastle but my home grown strawberries never make it near the jam pot; so it is, indeed a treat. I feel like a 'proper' invalid, now :rotfl:
Been to Mum and Dad's for our tea.
Picked DD up from work; went for her early as I wanted to explore yellow-stickered goods; upshot is I bought a few bits, now have pitta breads and English muffins in the freezer, and one of those foil boxed ready to roast beef joints - down from £5 to 49p WOOT
While I waited for her I played at being a supervisor - customer came through with a pineapple without a label - while DD knew the price she didn't have a barcode to scan so i went for another pineapple; she scanned it, then I took it back - I'd been through the tills and was chatting to another of the girls who is the same age as DS (but I'm not sure exactly who she was as she's a twin and it was a best guess as to which twin I was talking to as I couldn't see her name badge:rotfl:) when DD looked to me for help! In my defence it was very, very quiet; most of the checkout people were waiting for customers!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Happy Anniversary LW xx
OH has hurt his back and is worried about work.
2 bags ready for cs. Sorted Ds2's clothes and bought replacements in larger size.0 -
Nice bargains, valli. I picked up quite a few punnets of rather sour apricots and nectarines for 19p each, so they'll be turned into jam soon.
Mum used to make rhubarb and strawberry jam, too, as they were both from the allotment. I think the rhubarb was there to make the strawberries go further. Thinking about rhubarb, I must check out that cake recipe.

I really hope that DS2 will enjoy his holiday activity tomorrow. It's a 2-day creative writing master class about myths and legends. He loves myths (especially fearsome mythical creatures with magical powers) and enjoys writing, although he's at the lower end of the age bracket for the course. It's in one of our favourite places with a lovely big garden and parkland where they're due to go for inspiration. Last year he saw an old shrub there which he thought looked like a dragon, so I think he'll be fine.
Time to go for DS1 now, and then bed, I think. Night all. x
I've just realised that it looks like I've done very little today, but I can definitely see a bit of a difference in the kitchen. Honest.0 -
I seem to have had a very busy day but not actually achieved very much, hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day. I had some retail therapy today, as I ordered a lot of the items that I need for the baby but I'm a happy lady as I managed to save £185 and also will get more money back via TCB

TMD - Hope you're feeling better.
OH has hurt his back and is worried about work. .If he can have a massage, it will help. If you were close enough to me, I would do it, but it needs to be deep tissue/sports rather than holistic.
As I said before, I'm following a set list as I've printed it to keep DH motivated a bit. (It worked yesterday.)
