Happy Anniversary to LW and Mr LW. (I was going to describe you as The Wolves but that sounded too much like a football team:o)

Am sorting out for the next 2 sales - one record and book, one vintage and retro - and disposing of numerous stray bits in the process. I left the kitchen reasonably tidy after lunch, did all the washing up but, from the noise and smell, there's a curry on the go. ;)

I Dysoned the flat yesterday, most clean clothes are in the wardrobe and the clean bedlinen has made it to the bedroom. Anybody got a spare bedmaking fairy they can send over for 10 minutes? :D

On a lighter note, today is exactly eleven years since I moved in with Mr LW.:o

Happy 11 years of living together :D I hope you are going somewhere lovely for your wedding anniversary. I am already to trying to decide where to go for ours and we have only been married for 2 years this year...however I am hoping we will be MF by then so it would be 2 good reasons to celebrate :D

Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs LW! I'm glad you now have a holiday to look forward to.

My day started slowly. :o I spent time online trying to figure out how my new mop works and then a friend came with DS2's card and present. I finally made a start in the kitchen and then everyone needed lunch. I called at Mr M's on the way back from taking DS1 (found lots of reduced fruit, so I'll be making some jam in the next couple of days) and was so tired when I got back that I dozed off, despite a coffee. Still recovering from the last few mad weeks at work, I think.

Time to make tea for OH (who has at least cut the grass and brought the washing in) and then get back to it. Best go and find some music.

    Food in oven..
    3 binbags for CS now.
1 bag for Fabian and one for DD1 and Samuel.
    2 for the bin!

5 more binbags out today.. so that is 23 in total.. I'm aiming for 50 this week!!!! Given I live in squalor that shouldn't be too hard!

    Car seats both washed..

Baby stuff sorted up to 12-18 months.. This one will need very little buying thank goodness. Good job I love white sleepsuits/vests etc.. it means very little else is needed regardless of gender... what I don't have from these 2 DD1 has from Samuel.. though most of his sleepsuits are pink lol.

    3 loads of washing done
landing cleared of tools/rubbish and vacuumed
    Girly room vacuumed.

second landing needs vacuuming but I can do that while pasta cooks..

I cannot believe how much I am dumping at CS this week!

I have a binbag full to bursting with old shoes for recycling too! Some are like new!

I can't get over how cold it is considering it's the end of May! I've just put the heating on for an hour as the house is freezing and we are both wearing fleeces etc so it's not as though we're under-dressed. I dread to think what the next fuel bill will be like

The question now is: Do I write up my last two case studies - due in by next Monday, or put my feet up with The Glums on TV and my knitting?

    Hi all

LWHappy anniversary to you & Mr LW
Pigpen well done on the flinging!
    danemum hugs to you

I am shattered - was up early to go to an antiques fair (didn't buy anything) came back & had breakfast, then went out to local cat rescue to drop off some cat food, on the way back went to the garden centre. Got home, had a cuppa, then went to W!lkos for snail/slug catcher & lawn seed. Returned home, had lunch (& caught up with fred) then spent 2 hours in the garden.

LR, Hallway, stairs, landing, bathroom & kitchen hettyed.

I've boo-booed on plant buying - realised that where I want to plant the honeysuckle I brought today, I've had to put SPK down as that's where the brambles were growing :o. I'm going to plant the honeysuckle in a bigger pot in the next couple of weeks and hope that it survives for the next 6 weeks (I can plant where I've treated after 6 weeks).

Now off for a cheeky vino and bath

    Deco x

My house is looking clean and tidy :D But its not going to last much longer as I've just had a text from DD saying they're leaving her nans, and she'll text me again when they leave her dads. So considering its a bank holiday and they're heading back from the lakes, I'd say she'll be home around 8.30-9pm if they're lucky with traffic.

I've ordered Ex's birthday present from DD! His birthday isn't until the beginning of July but this was a bargain, in budget and worth a lot more :money:Now we just need to sort fathers day stuff out for him.

Also done a Mr A order for tomorrow. I'm fed up of DD coming to me and saying she's run out of x/y/z so I've been through the bathroom (laptop in tow, thank goodness I have my wireless working atm lol), her room, then my room to check toiletries etc and ordered 2 of everything we're low on or are on offer ;) Means I have an expensive order coming compared to what it could have been, but I'll do another one for Saturday with packed lunch & food bits in from Junes budget. ;)

Ironing is all done, wash baskets are empty. I have a set of 90x90 curtains that need washing before I store them, but they're too big to put on the maiden and its raining so I can't hang them out either. They'll have to sit there a little longer. Going to get DD to go through her hats/scarf/gloves and CS anything she doesn't want any more, then I'll wash & store the remaining ones ;)

Manic Monday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Mess
    Only got 15 minutes

    Sweep and mop floors
    30 minutes to spare
Wipe ALL large appliances and units and kickboards
Wipe and replace all small appliances

    Young Helpers list:

    • Can you collect all the dirty plates and cups and stuff from about the house?
    • Could you fill a carrier of rubbish?
    • And let's see if you can do some dusting? Wipe away all the dust and fluff and dirt in one room!
I'm going to make a coffee, grab something to eat & chill until DD comes home. I'm really liking how tidy the house is so I'm going to enjoy it :D:rotfl: Back later for tomorrows list
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
