I'm in again this week. Had a massive wobble last week so managed sod all in the house, but thanks to efforts the week before I can still chip away this week rather than have to start afresh! No kids in this house, so half term makes no difference to us, going to start allocating OH some jobs too when he's over the lurgy.

All dressed, tidied round upstairs and made beds whilst we were there, put washing away, gingerbread dough made and whilst littlies were making shapes and filling the trays, I cleaned the other side of the kitchen. We did two batches and they have decorated one man each, and scoffed him! I've swept up as vermicelli everywhere! Will mop later. I have wiped down where they were icing so that's all clear too. Just a bit of washed up stuff to put away when dry :T

Managed to zoflora cupboard fronts and fridge etc, and wiped down hob.

Now having a :coffee: again :o like my tea breaks. Eaten a few gingerbread letters still warm and soft from oven :o:p

Thank you, Dusty and Froddy. Hugs and coping vibes are on their way to JJ and LW.

I had a much needed lie-in this morning and feel much better for it. Two cups of tea drunk, music on youtube and I'm ready to get started.

No rain forecast here today, so I'll get some more laundry done as well as the kitchen list. DS1 will need a lift to work as the busses aren't as good on bank holidays and I've got to make plans for tea in case I need anything (Mr M's is on the way).
Depressing how much gas we have used this year. Just seen that our DD is going up a whopping £83 per month. It was too low by £50 so not surprised but it stings. Need to look out our deal, know it is fixed until Nov 2013 and not sure if it is just the cold winter or our usage or price.

Same here (gas and electricity ), but I've not been good with regular meter readings, so I've got no idea what caused it. I've decided to pay off the debit over a few months and leave our DDs as they are, so I can keep an eye on it for a few months. DS1 did something stupid last summer which will have racked up the electricity bill.

Anyone for a HHC at 10.50?

The baby seems to be on hoppety juice today so my poor battered bladder is taking a pounding. Small pinks fed.. still got 2 not at home.

DS2 has brought wash baskets down so both WM's are on.

Lovely forecast for today so OH is playing outside again.. it is meant to get cloudy at about 10pm so he can stay out there all day :D

    I have vacuuming to do.

OH is bringing the car seats in so I can wash the covers, they are filthy! The boys can vacuum out the car I think..

DS2's jobs.. Put games on the bookcase. Refill box from under the bed with stuff they want to keep. Fill a binbag of rubbish or recycling or one of each!
DD2 jobs.. Wipe worksurfaces, load DW and empty her bedside unit so I can move it out of her room. Sort school clothes out of her drawers so she can fit clothes in.
DS3 jobs.. Clean out stinky boing, get a shower and dressed! Then he can help DS2

I'm sorting some more of the stuff in the small pinks room.. I'm certain I can fill another binbag for charity shop just from the 3 boxes of clothes that are in there. I need to sort Squeaks clothes too, she has new ones and lots that are too snug! I want to clear the table on the landing too.

OH's jobs.. mince grass, he is then off to B&Q again.. He definitely has a thing for orange tabards! I might get one :p. He has plants to plant and mud to dig and stuff to sprinkle and a roof to refelt and a shed to empty and destroy. 2 bookcases to build and a chest of drawers to move.. or maybe 2 or 3.. and a box to lift from the top of the wardrobe for me to sort through.

Let's see how much we actually get through then!

Washing blowing in wind and sun. Mrs Starling chastising me for being in the back yard again - but isn't disturbed by socks and undies wafting near her nest site - I checked that she'd gone back to it before I came in.

Mr Blackbird singing a wonderful song :)

Next load will soon be ready to go out. Pots draining on draining board - where else :)

Fridge nudged as I walked past - it's still grumbling, but not so noisily.

I feel some shredding coming on.

    How are you doing Minnie?
