Depressing how much gas we have used this year. Just seen that our DD is going up a whopping £83 per month. It was too low by £50 so not surprised but it stings. Need to look out our deal, know it is fixed until Nov 2013 and not sure if it is just the cold winter or our usage or price.

Morning All

I've been awake since 4.10 so I got up up at 4.45. DH is doing a carboot today at Eccleshall market so I'll go over to him later. Other than that I'll attempt to get today's list done and hoover round.

Have a good day all

Hugs

Good morning all!

Thank you Natty for the list as I definitely need the motivation, even though I'm not sticking to your list. (more later).
I didn't get everything I'd planned finished, but there's a definite improvement and the greenhouse is also much improved, thanks to help from my friend. Sneakily, I also introduced her to this thread and she was much impressed so I'm waiting for her appearance.................

Anyway, I've got a "set lists" as I've printed them off and put them on a door in the kitchen so DH can't say he didn't know what to do. There's a limit to what he can do because of his injury but he can do at least Level 1 most days and possibly parts of Level 2, with maybe some extras thrown in. I've also done a whole month's menu so he doesn't have to say "What do you want for dinner?" every day, usually just as I'm leaving for my first appointment!

So today's list for me:

Manic
Monday
Kitchen, Utility, Dining Room

Morning dailies
[STRIKE]Open windows[/STRIKE], turn bedding back (DH has a bad habit of not airing the bed!), [STRIKE]load washing machine,[/STRIKE][STRIKE] feed pets, [/STRIKE]walk dogs,[STRIKE] tidy & wipe kitchen & bathrooms,[/STRIKE] ironing, make beds, close windows.
Level 1
De-clutter and mop/vacuum floor
Clear and wipe work surfaces

Level 2
Wipe units & large appliances
Give one small appliance a good clean!
Pull out a large appliance & clean behind & under it!
Clean out the fridge thoroughly& check the drain at the back!

Level 3
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and de-web!
Clean door seals, filters & detergent drawers

Extras
Wash the windows!
Wipe over the woodwork
Clean light fittings
Also hoping to do more garden stuff!!!
Night time dailies
Prepare clothes for next day, pack lunch & bags, tidy kitchen & lounge before bed.

I'm just off to walk the four-legged one, then I'll stop for breakfast. DH is still in bed, so I can't do much about that with him in it! :p

Morning All

I'm in for this week - house is an absolute midden. I had really good intentions last week, but work, family, two poorly mutts - one of which needed surgery got in the way! It was one of those weeks where you never stop from getting out of bed but don't seem to achieve much.

But heyho, life goes on, and hopefully I will be able to get more done than level one and keeping us all fed and in clean (unrumpled) clothes this week.....

Have a good day everyone, hope the sun is shining wherever you are, its lovely here xx

Good Morning x

A good drying day is forecast here so I've got the WM on. 1st load should be ready to go out soon.

Currently having a :coffee: and a chat with Charlie, my budgie. I think he's telling me that the fridge is making a very weird noise  I know I can hear it too Charlie. I do hope it's not dieing _pale_.

Right .... 1st load going on to the line, 2nd load going into WM, and then I'm going to wash a bowlful of pots.

Enjoy your day

I joined for the first time last week, and although I didn't complete all the lists it certainly made me think a bit more about doing a little each day....so I'm in again! Hopefully will manage a bit more this week, certainly should today with it being a bank holiday I have no excuse!!!
