Afternoon all! Hope everyone is having a nice sunny Saturday! I'm slightly limited on flying today after stupidly carrying a 22kg unit from Argos to my car.....bit of muscle spasm going on so it's my excuse to make OH do the hovering and mopping!

Would just like to say this thread is amazing! I have been (kind of) following the lists for the last 2 weeks and my cleaning this morning was sooo much easier! Just a quick tidy and whipped the duster around. Needs a hoover and mop as well but I normally spend ages tidying up before I can even start cleaning. So thanks to Natty and Dusty you have made my house a tidier place in just 2 weeks :D

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Back while I have lunch.

My HHC ended up being an hour and although it looks like I haven't done much I've munched a tadpole :D

    • Washing up - some dishes are soaking, but they'll be washed later by DD ;)
    • Worktops wiped down
    • Shopping all away (except the stuff to go upstairs which is now in a basket waiting for the next trip up there)
    • Fridge sorted through and stuff that needed throwing binned
    • Handwarmers that had gone cloudy binned. Some where almost as old as DD so new ones added to my "winter prep" list
    • Upper cleaning/meds cupboard tidied up
    • "Rarely used" cupboard (contains my oven dishes, saucepan lids, icecube trays etc) sorted through and re-jigged. But just realised I need to find a home in there for my stock pot which is currently on the hob being used :o
Received a letter from CSA which is saying Ex owes me £675 which is a load of rubbish. Their maths really don't add up as thats no where near the amount that covers the period they're referring too. This is all his payroll departments fault for messing up the payments. He's already paid me directly the amounts he should have according to the schedule we received in September and he's going to set up a DD to me as soon as his next lot of wages goes through so we can be sure that the payroll don't try and take the money when they've been told not to. So I'll let him see the letter so he can have a laugh at their maths as well, fill in the form and post it back first thing Monday. I cannot wait to be rid of the CSA and his payroll department!

Best get some lunch, then I think I'll find some jobs from the list to do.

I'm giving up on the idea of a meal plan - again. Can't get as far as tomorrow evening, let alone next Friday. Bloomin' awkward family. :(

This; but I only really meal plan on occasions where I need the Vallikids to be a bit pro-active. Otherwise they cook separately. Usually I do a cottage pie for Mondays because DD has to be out about 6:30 and she can easily start it off. I make two at a time. I also do a cracking fish pie (when I can be bothered) and that two resurfaces as a one-pot meal.
I also often do more mashed spuds than I need then if I am doing a casserole in the SC there's something than can accompany it!

At them moment I have a vegetable chilli on the go - had planned to invite 'the girls' round tonight but had to hang fire due to being ill. Upshot is there's only one friend coming; she's vegetarian hence the chilli - what's left over will freeze for one pot meals for me (which are slimming and nutricious) - ace plan though I say so myself;)
We are havinmg Pimms to (£10 a litre in Morries - and I get 10% off! Woot!)
