Left for cricket at 11:30 and got back just in time to collect DS2 from work at 9pm.
Starving and exhausted. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

That's a lot to happen in a couple of days, CY. Hope you have some good news soon.
Hope someone had food ready and waiting for you, dusty.
I think I need to follow your good example, roundtuit. The decluttering has ground to a halt a bit since the house has started to look better (but not good). I spent the evening starting a project (taken the fabric from DS2's old inflatable sofa to bits so I can make a bean bag for him) instead of planning for Monday, so tomorrow will be a busy day for the paid stuff.
Night all x0 -
Well I have had a reasonable productive day. I have a long list for tomorrow but I will delegate some jobs to DH as he is off work tomorrow.
Surveys and other daily work
Clean filters and detergent dispensers
Laundry (need to do 4 loads)
Do some course work (need to do 4 hours)
Catch up with hoarding thread and challenge thread
Feed all pets
Take kids to the party
HH sorting through emails - delete 50 emails
Do more work on organising diary for June
Give dd her medication
Give ds her medication
Unpack the last of the holiday bags
Quick dust around the house
Sort Avon paperwork
Clean the old pram and list for sale
Plant some of the herb seeds
Wash the windows outside
HHI x2
Check Mr A Price guarantee
Submit s&s information
Cut the grass and spray the weeds
Declutter the floor in ds's bedroom
Do a meal plan for June, write up recipes and sort shopping lists
Print off business paperwork and finalise accounts for last month, review last month and set targets for this month
Update the spreadsheet
Set up a page for selling items whilst decluttering
Give the bathroom a good clean
First coat of paint on the bathroom walls
I think that is more than enough to be getting on with on Sunday., hopefully I get a good nights sleep and have plenty motivation.0 -
I've munched another frog this afternoon then started on filing DD's school work. It took me the best part of 4 hours to get it to where we currently are! But it was a mix of some odd bits from year 2 & 3, odd bits & exercise books from year 4 (her teacher kept them back in case inspectors wanted to see them apparently?!?), nearly all her year 5 work including exercise books and then everything from year 6 with books to boot. I even found stuff from when she was in Brownies. She's only about to start the last half term of year 7, so I think we're doing pretty good :rotfl::rotfl: Some more bits to sort out tomorrow but I quit at 8pm to eat & watch some TV.
Tomorrow I need to try and use a new to me drawing program on DD's laptop to draw some legs on a creature she's "designed" for Biology. She tried herself but they went wrong, then she got frustrated & I said I'd do it this time before she decided to teach the laptop to fly  Going to invest in a smart pen to use on both our laptops. It'll help her when she's got artistic homework, and I can use it for A LOT of minor projects I'd like to do
Now I'm off to bed. Lots of bits to finish tomorrow, but both of my wheelie bins are 3/4 full so I need to remember not to start any more flingingCan't wait until Monday morning: DD back to school, posting the form to the CSA and then phoning the charity to come and collect the donations I have for them
That will mean that once that pile has left I will have an almost empty corner in my room for the first time in nearly 6 years :j
See you in the morning folks :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Since the trouble earlier in the week I have bitten all my nails something I don't do. I have made them hurt.
Kitchen put to bed. Night night all x0 -
Opto-mum.. that is very sweet of your gran.. none of my family even know I am pregnant lol.. only OH and the children know and the children haven't mentioned it and neither have I. I've not seen any of my family since Dec-Jan so no one knows.. I doubt I'll get to the birth without one of them discovering it though lol.
We went to see Star Trek.. tbh, it is rubbish, but it was an evening out just me and OH which was nice. DD2 and DS2 were at home and the beastlings were in bed snoozing so it hardly counts as babysitting. DD2 was asleep on her bed with the light on when we got back and DS2 is still on his computer I think.
We came home, remade the bed and I brought my lappy up so I am currently slobbed in my bed hoping my very poofy cankles are better by the morning as they are very uncomfortable.
I really need to paint my toe nails but I am too lazy.. I might use that as incentive to finish tidying my room.. when it is done I can paint them!!! lol There is so much needs doing in the house still, I feel like I am getting nowhere yet I think about how much I have flung lately and there is barely any differenceit is very demoralising.
anyway.. off for a browse of FB before heading to the land of ZZZzzzzLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Pigpen - stop being so hard on yourself! You have removed over 30 binbags this week. :T Non-pregnant peeps haven't even managed that and you have a large family too. Cut yourself some slack, petal. Re the nails: you are not lazy - you are knackered! I'm convinced any before and after pictures will show you exactly how far you have come in the last couple of weeks. Now, go and make those nails your priority in the morning and all the rest will fall into place .... eventually!Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
Debts - Vanquis £3500 1/1/16; DFD - when I'm dead with £100,000,000+ interest  UPDATED Feb 2016 £2739.80; DFD June 2016 :j
Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 20160 -
My bag of nail stuff is buried somewhere in the detritus that is my bedroom so I can't paint them until I unearth it! .. see, incentive!
We are at the stage where is it made 10 times messier in the name of tidying before we see any progress. The small girls room is looking better, though I must do a furniture shuffle as the 2 pests can reach to empty a cupboard from their cots, I am thinking of filling the drawers they can reach with things that will easily tidy from the beds.. books, Leapfrog explorers etc.
It is a lack of storage that needs addressing.
I am still aiming for the 50 binbags out before school on Monday.. I might have to get a wriggle on tomorrowLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
