Pigpen Hope you feel better soon

We have been up since 3.45am, DS2 was very sick on his new mattress fortunately the expensive protector did its job. He also managed to cover the landing carpet too. I must have washed my hands 60 times now. I'm seeing germs everywhere. Sent OH for some germ killing liquid and he came back with some spray that we already have.

DS2 has been very noisy and not very nice this morning. I'm ignoring and hope he will calm down when he feels better.

DS1 is very cross as he doesn't want to catch anything as he has more Gcses tomorrow. DS2 will now miss his swimming gala.

I have achieved very little.. what with running (at the speed of a snail) to the loo every 5 minutes.. note to self.. Majestic is not the place to buy scampi.. it kills me every time and I never learn! At least it is working itself out which is a good thing.. and the cramps have improved massively. :D

1 binbag ready for CS another 1 started.. I need to speak to DD1 see if she wants some of these jumpers otherwise they too can be liberated.. they will fit come winter but I've not worn them for 2 years so I don't think I need them after all!

Valli.. donating to hospice or nursing home is a lovely idea, they are usually desperate for new undies and old person clothes as well as pjs and dressing gowns.. My mother took all my nannas stuff to a nursing home, they were incredibly grateful.

Morning all. It's much cooler today but I'm actually grateful for that. I had a good day yesterday at ALSPAC although I'm disappointed to find I'm shorter than I was and heavier! You don't want to know my fat percentage! On the up side though, as my lovely Mum had Osteoporosis, my bone density is at the top end of the scale for my age. :D So what I'm saying is "It's better to be overweight and undertall with fab bones.":D

Pigpen - I hope you feel better soon and get well wishes to anyone I've missed.

Anyway, I got off to a good start with WM on, now finished and hung on the line, a good walk around the park with DogStar and I've done a bit of garden decluttering (more later).

DH is uop now and under starters orders to cook brunch while I go and eat the frog that is lurking in my understairs cupboard. :o

The rest of the flying looks like this:

    Level 2

Pull out a large appliance & clean behind & under it!

    Extras
Clean light fittings - will do this when I replace two light bulbs at the weekend
    Extras
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    Level 2
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust & polish PC & desk.
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches & mouse etc

    Extras
    Wipe grotty paintwork
    Clean boots & winter coats.
    Make half an
hour to do something for yourself! (having that Sports Massage at 5.30 - ouch!!! I AM black and blue, rather sore, but don't ache as much as I did.
    Level 2
    Clear a bookshelf or two.
    Wash windows & curtains.

    Level 3
Tidy the cupboards /drawers of clothes
Wipe grotty marks from the walls and paintwork

    Extras
Dust the light fittings/curtain poles etc
    MUST FINISH CASE STUDIES!!!

So, it's not looking so bad. :T Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

Roundtuit - get rid. Someone else can benefit whilst you lose the weight and by that time, you may not even like it any more :rotfl:

Having a ploddy-chillaxy day. Up at 8am and put a "red" wash out on the line. Took a brew up to bed. Meal planned and budgeted in bed. Up again at 9.30 and stripped DD's bed (she was still in it :D) and put another WM load in. Made bacon and egg butties for us all and another cuppa and got back in bed. Out of bed now and have folded 2 baskets of laundry and put them away and made a "To do" list for June jobs. Now off to sort out a roast dinner for this afternoon as I'm working tonight. Roast Beef and Yorkies nom, nom, nom.

DS has just surfaced from his bed - think his hormones are kicking in but his body hasn't yet caught up with the surge as he's constantly shattered - he'll be 12 next week  where did that go? Will nip in and strip his bed now.

    Jobs for today:-

[STRIKE]DS to do 3 pieces of homework[/STRIKE] and some SATs revision
    [STRIKE]Nit-check both kids[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Replace bedding in both kids' rooms [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean bathroom[/STRIKE]
    Walk dog
[STRIKE]Do a roast dinner[/STRIKE] - DS and DD can do the dishes
    Go to work at 4.30
Organise my "In" tray in the study
    [STRIKE]Write 4 Birthday cards[/STRIKE]
Ring a dear friend of my Mum (RIP)
Put a photo file of Mum and Dad onto a disc and have it printed off this week. - IN HANDBAG READY

Right, the bed won't strip itself and that WM won't empty itself either

Half the washing (hugs stack) is ironed and airing in front of my sunny, open bedroom window.

Have just put a few red items in for a quick, short cool wash - thanks TMDiD Superdry t-shirts which have to be treated delicately and not subjected to my usual, vigorous washing :rotfl:
I will irone them, and the rest of the stack later. 3 duvet covers to iron.

Need to ring bank as I have locked myself out AGAIN. This is the second time in a month (why do I persist in putting the same, rejected security information in?) I also locked myself out of using my card as I used my OLD PIN 3 times.

    Clearly I am going doolally:rotfl:

Valli.. change your new pin to your old one! I use the same pin for all my cards.. 1 number is much easier to remember than 6

Whilst bathroom has been spritzed with Stardrops, this month's Birthday cards have been written out, found the disc with the pics of Mum and Dad on so popped that into my handbag. Beef popped into the oven, made bacon and egg butty for DS and stripped his bed. Red wash in, folded and put away, white wash out on the line, DS's bedding and blues are in the WM.

Will go and finish the bathroom then DD can get showered and the nit-checking will begin. She takes about an hour in the bathroom (the smallest person in the house, go figure ) so reckon I will be able to get the whole house hoovered whilst she's in there!

Tax Credit Renewal Pack arrived last week and I keep putting it off as OH's business is so "bitty" and never straight-forward. That must be this week's frog. Feel free to nag my life to bits on this one :rotfl:

Valli and pigpen - all my cards have the same number now too - so much easier. All my passwords are a choice of two. Anything financial gets a cryptic one relating to my dear parents (RIP) as they were marvellous with money; anything else gets a cryptic one relating to the kids.
